It was so cold at the rodeo, but Neidon had to watch - he couldn't stay covered up under the blanket for long.

We had a great day at the rodeo but very COLD!

Every family has a dark side - a black sheep of the family.

I must come clean - I have someone too.

She is from the northern part of the country (i.e. Yankee) - the up country part of my family.

I hope Neidon is still this happy after 10 hours in a car seat.

It looks like he needs his gramps to hold him!

We're excited as our kids and grandkids will all be here this week.

Early reader

Neidon is getting some serious reading done.

He knows he'll be here in a few days and we like to discuss the literature we're reading with each other.

He's a real avid reader.

Momma's little helper

Here's our little girl helping her mommy vacuum the floor.

Of course, mommy carries her baby while she works, so we have to do the same.

Our babies will be here in San Antonio in a few days and we can't wait to carrying them around!

Kaireia is becoming more the young lady every day. She loves having her mommy fix her hair up.


And she likes her clothing and accessories to MATCH!

Little bride

Here is our future 'bride'. Rachel says Kaireia likes to dress up as a bride with a blanket as her dress and a wash cloth as her veil.


It looks like she is wearing a red night gown under all this.

Beauty queen

Kaireia is our little beauty. You can see that she isn't camera shy. We can hardly wait to see her and we will in just a few weeks.

They'll be here for the San Antonio livestock show and Rodeo.


But until then, we'll just have to enjoy her pictures.

First bites

Neidon doesn't seem too thrilled with his first bites of "real" food. If you can call baby cereal real food.

He hasn't figured out you have to swallow it!

Fishing buddies

Good morning to all! Just a story to pass along today.

I have a client who is an avid fisherman. She said she fishes on the Pedernales River and occasionally with a young man with whom she enjoys discussing God with as well. She finally asked him what he did for a living, as he was off a lot in the daytime. He said he wrote songs. So she said - a song writer? What songs have you written? Well, he replied, one of mine in "How Great is Our God".
