A windy Monday

We're off and running - a new work week has begun!

Cindy is home and enjoyed the grand-kids - the painted rooms look great so Lincoln can come now.

Rainy, rainy day ...

Good morning! Sunday already - wow, a brand new week.

I'm looking forward to church, but it would be easy to stay home today - it's downright nasty outside. It looks like rainy weather from here all the way north to Ohio and it stretches fairly far east and west as well.

It's rumbling outside as the first storm of the day rolls in. Wherever you are - be safe and have a blessed day!

Cindy sent me this picture of Anna who was 'calling' me. She has such a sweet smile.

Cindy spent the day painting - I'm sure some grandkid time was in there too!

A super windy and story night - we had a tornado watch until 1 am and it felt like it was about to roll through too!

Yummy way to get going - I'm okay with the hot chocolate, but nor sure about a bowl of snow.

Cookie monster

It's best to watch cookies that are baking to be able to pull them out of the oven at the exact moment. Of course, eating a snack at the same time helps the time pass well.

We enjoyed the Tech basketball games last night - our friend has front row season passes so the view is always great.

50 degrees already - high in upper 50's - feels like a heat wave.

I'm glad I'm old

I was just thinking about how glad I am that there was no digital photography when I was young - my folks might have a lot more photos of me as a child - just a thought.

However, I sure love the photos of my babies! Aren't they beautiful.

Anna is a fashion diva

Another fine day ahead - I drove up to Celina to look at a church yesterday - never even heard of Celina before that. One of the guys at work and across the hall is from there and attended the same church as a youth. Everyone knows everyone in Tennessee!

I'm not sure if it is because Noema is to tiny and young, but Kaireia sure seemed a lot older on my last Ohio visit. She's growing up so quick.

Dreaming of warm weather

Two of my favorite things here - grandkids and warm weather! (And Cindy , of course).

All signs of snow are gone although we still see some ice on the shady side of the highway cuts through the rocky hills.

Getting ready for church

What a beautiful weekend and a great week ahead - I love warm weather! Did I ever mention that?

Great church meeting yesterday - but 4 1/2 hours long!! Can't believe most of the members stayed - not sure I would have - except I was on stage and it would have been awkward to leave.

I've a 1 pm meeting north of Nashville after church to present a large addition to a church in Madison, Tennessee. Should be fun!

Warmer this week

It appears there will be no snow this week - woohoo! Everybody is sick of this white stuff.

An errand day - a book signing at our public library, lunch in Knoxville and hopefully hang a gas wall heater in the basement. Other than that, just a lazy day. Saturdays are nice :-)

Another Friday is here

A quick week - where did it go?

Warmer weather begins to move in, at least for the next week or so. Anything over 30 seems warm now!

First things first - yesterday's photo was Noema, not Anna - wait until they get older and I get a couple more grandkids - wow, I can't keep up with names now!

Snow this afternoon and all night is projected for our area - think summer! Weather in the teens this morning - brrrrr.

Yes, Noema is in there - somewhere! The coat should be cushion enough in case of a car wreck - regardless of the car seat.

Snow on the ground but sunshine projected today - starting off in the teens but high 30's to low 40's projected - another heat wave.

Tenn Tech Basketball

Cindy and I went to a Tenn Tech basketball game last night - actually two - the girls team won and then the boys lost. Still a lot of fun and we were pretty close - actually front row seats. We were in the background during the interview and someone from church called that recognized us.

Never thought I'd say it, but 38 out and rainy - feels warm! Ha!! Snow projected later but not much - hey, bring it on, I drove to Ohio in a blizzard !

Good morning - hope you are still doing fine after this past strong storm that pushed through. We're around 20 degrees this morning, but fortunately no snow. It did rain last night, but hopefully no ice on the roads.

I'm off to Columbia, TN today - SW of Nashville and about 90 miles from here - meeting with a huge church for a whole new complex.

Getting close to Noema

Noema's gramps must be comfortable - he kept her sleeping quite a while. He has a cushiony stomach.

Windy today and turning much colder tonight and tomorrow - no place to go today but work and back - be safe my friends.

Saw Purdue was closed today - snow emergency - heavy snows north of us.
