Franklin today

Good morning - off to Nashville (actually Franklin) in a few minutes.

Wish we were touring historic Franklin instead of a church seminar - but somehow work goes on. Cindy and I visited here a few years ago and saw several mansions and civil war sites - very interesting.

Have a blessed day!

Magnolias are in bloom

Happy Birthday Irene!!

This Magnolia tree was on the grounds of the Carter House that was part of the Franklin Battle in Franklin, Tennessee.

All of the Magnolias have begun to bloom. A nice time of year.

The Carter Farm House office

This building was in the middle of the Union-Civil War fire fight. Bullet and cannon holes everywhere - must have been terrifying!

Franklin, Tennessee

We're home - and we had a GREAT time. The Battle of Franklin is amazing and worth studying. The mansions and homes of that area are extremely interesting and the civil war ties are strong. I pray you had a great memorial day.
