Rocky Saturday

 Well, yesterday we moved rock, rocks and more rocks ..,

We're ready to just enjoy our deck now!

70 degrees!

 Greetings - loving this global warming - worked at our church's live nativity last night and could have worn shorts - we typically wear long johns!

Went to the local Christmas parade last week - lots of great floats - never saw mules in a parade before! About a dozen wagons with mules.

Our deck is getting close to being done - just waiting on the side panels to be completed - we moved the stairs to opposite side - they work much nicer.

Got home around midnight last night - not quite going yet ... welcome home!

A beautiful DRY day

Good afternoon - what a wet week we've had - many inches of rain, cold weather and just nasty out. Yesterday's high in the mid 50's set a low 'high' record for here.
Today is back to normal - sunshine and dry - woohoo!
No big news here -a great week behind us and a great week ahead.
Landed a big job with Hubbard in Pikeville last week- a large chicken hatchery and breeder - God is so good!

Home alone

Well, back to normal - a least for a day or so. Neidon is home and Cindy is home and I is home too!
Well, looks like Rachel and Darin are having a boy!! Neidon won't be alone! Grandkids are great.

Yard mowed last night, breakfast out in a bit and a few errands today - enjoy!

Warm weather - woohoo!

A beautiful day here - sunshine and warm weather - a great combination.
 We had a guest speaker at church today and I went out after church to lunch with him and his wife and my minister and his family. A great visit and a fun time!
Cindy is still spoiling family in Ohio and she returns Tuesday - hope my mess isn't too bad!
Well, sorry my Spurs are out of the play-offs, but it was fun while it lasted. Now what do we watch?

Back to normal ....

Well, a quiet Saturday at home - that hasn't happened in weeks and weeks. Off to breakfast in a bit, a few errands and then home to review tomorrow's lesson for church and CRASH!

Dreaming of summer ...

Greetings - wow, what a cold week we've had. I was out walking with a client today in 25 degree weather and it actually felt warm!
A great week but after being off almost 2 weeks it was mighty crazy - everyone wanted everything like right now - not good. Maybe we'll start to settle down a bit.

 Good morning - a bit of rain today and in the 50's - winter has temporarily left us - looks like it is returning next week.

I swear to bring back some grand-baby photos when I return from Ohio. We're wanting new photos as well!

We're leaving tomorrow after work to Columbus and returning next Saturday.

Great Saturday in Tennessee

Good afternoon - we've had a fun day - went to a farm that some church member's have and probably a hundred folks or so showed up for a pig roast, sorghum making, fiddling', and lots of fun country stuff.
Came home - mowed in high 50 degree weather in sweatshirts, spread grass seed and now ready to relax - whew ...

Rainy week

Good morning - over 5" of rain the past few days plus more coming in today. One of the wettest October's ever.

Greetings - we actually had a breakfast out alone .... shopping, mowed lawn and now some inside tasks ... wow, almost sounds like normal again.
We had a grand time with Kaireia here this past week plus - she is sure growing up!
No big news - just cooler weather, leaves turning and downright chilly nights!

Mowing day

Good morning - well, Cindy has been busy with County Business - that's her at her swearing in on the right. Meetings, calls and paperwork - sounds like a real job! Her first full commissioner meeting is Monday night - you can't watch live, but meetings are recorded and you can see later here CLICK . I'm just glad what I do is not recorded - ouch!
Well, hope to catch up on mowing today - 4+ inches over the past week or two. Have a good one!
