Biltmore blacksnith

I never thought I would live somewhere were anvil playing was an art form.

I start teaching a SS class this Sunday - we've been here over two years and I guess we checked out okay. They still have a few reservations about me - but who doesn't!

I was at the Biltmore

Cindy took this photo - she said to prove I was at the Biltmore. I think because it is more in line with what my summer home would be. Actually, I couldn't even afford this one.

Biltmore gardens

I got these ready this morning and then forgot to post them - we worked on the yard and then went to see the Cordell Hull museum and the Alvin York birthplace. Watch for those photos this week. The Biltmore gardens are amazing!

Stone Carvings everywhere

It's hard to tell until you get close, but there are stone coverings all over the Biltmore - very intricate and all types of figures.

A long weekend

We bumped into this odd couple at the Biltmore - they look familiar.

I think this is a stay at home - do work around the house - type of weekend.

Biltmore's potted plants

I like the elephant ears in the elephant pot - would you like to have to water all of these every day?

A relaxing Saturday

A busy week, so we're starting off a bit slow today. You can see Cindy working in the garden here - so hard to place statuary. Looks like the pond needs some work too - always something going on around the manor.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Biltmore - secondary entrance

I bet your back door isn't as nice as this - your front entry may not even be as nice. This is also the breezeway to the stables. Nice little home.

Have a wonderful Memorial Day - thanks to our soldiers and veterans!
