A thirsty girl

Chalking is hard work - you gotta take a break every so often.

The day we did this it was hot and super humid - I should have been drinking more fluids myself.

Back to work Monday

I know you had a fun weekend - but you can't hide at home - you need to get up, get going and get back to work. It's Monday!

We're sliding into the end of the week

Play good together

Our house did sell and fund on Monday - we're free!! We're a one house family again.

We had a great visit with my folks Monday evening and yesterday they headed out as I headed to Nashville for the day.

This would be a fun day to play in the sand pile - but I guess I better go to work instead.

We're back!!

We had a 'miserable' time with the grandkids - and those folks who live with them. I'll read you a book if you come by - I'm all practiced up!

Our SA house closing has been moved up to today - pray it goes well.

I'm all charged!

We leave this afternoon after work to see the kids for the weekend! We've got a ga-jillion things to do first, but hey - that's life!

I won't be posting for a few days, but expect lots of new stuff next week.

Our closing is still on schedule for next week too! Woohoo!!

We leave for Ohio tomorrow after work - hooray!!

Kentucky View

When I picked Cindy up at camp last Friday, we took a short drive and then a short trail walk and came out on this incredible view across the hills looking into Kentucky. Don't ask how much of a drop it is at their feet!!

It's back to work - a short week as we head to Ohio after work Thursday for a long weekend.

Neidon looks small in that big 'rain' coat. Playing in water is fun!

A brand new week

Kardia is growing up - the toddler is gone. Kids seem to grow old so fast.

My folks and Sandra are in Scotland this week - pray they have a wonderful time. Dad would look good in a kilt - he could pull it off!

Fun Friday

Kaireia is excited - she just heard Cindy and I were going up to visit next weekend!

Wow - what a hard rain last night!! We got about an inch and it was an amazing storm. Our yards are loving the water.

Classes all day today - let's see if this old dog can learn anything.

You know this is my grand-daughter now - she eats just like I do!

Wacky Wednesday

The weeks fly by - don't they! The weekend after this one, we're going up to spoil the grand kids, and those folks who live with them.

In the meantime, I'll just enjoy their pictures.

Hug a friend Tuesday

Howdy all - Cindy says camp is busy, but she is having fun. There is no phone service there in case you've tried to reach her and she's been there since Sunday afternoon.

Pickett State Park

Cindy is a camp cook at Pickett State Park this week for our church's 8th to 12th grade kids.

Pickett is north and east of here - almost to the Kentucky State line.
