A beautiful Wednesday in store for us

Good morning! I was in Byrdstown last night and in Decherd today - one of these churches needs to get started - ha!

A few beautiful days ahead - everything is blooming - a beautiful time of year.

And the grandkids are perfect!

Another week

Someone is missing a tooth - have you seen it? I wonder what the tooth fairy pays these days?

The redbuds and many other trees are beginning to bloom and many are in flower. My grass looks a disaster - it is ready for more seed and fertilizer - I sure miss my St. Augustine!

I'm borrowing connection form a neighbor's unsecured wireless - our power went out last night for a few moments and our internet never came back on. Will try to figure out today.

Lots of rain all night and this morning - spring is on its way!

Sometime this weekend I'll have the 30,000th hit on this blog site. Over the past 51 months (over 4 years) you all will have looked at 1625 posts for an average of almost 20 views or hits a day.

Thanks you for watching my family grow up - we've had marriages, additions, moves and lots of changes but through it all God has been so good to us. He is faithful indeed.

Casual Friday

A rainy overcast morning, but at least warmer than usual.

Reed should be with his family in Oregon by now - 24 hours or so in the Denver airport - snow is yucky.

I spoke too soon yesterday - now everyone wants to hold Anna!

Reed is stuck in snowy Denver. His destination, Oregon, is so close yet so far. Pray he gets to his family soon.

Warm Tuesday

Flurries yesterday and 60 degrees projected today - I pray you have a great day.

Even Anna went to the drive-in. Kind of hard to see, but I like her 'Anna' front license plate. She looks mighty comfortable.

Drive-in

The kids under Reed at his church have a drive-in movie night - the cars they make from cardboard boxes. It appears the Kleeman kids made a truck and are sleeping in the bed of the truck.

I think there is room for gramps in there.

New DVD cabinet

The yellowish photo was taken 2 years ago - the other photos show the new cabinet on left side of fireplace and hidden from room. Nice to have the DVDs handy instead of all hidden all over the house.

New master bedroom look

The blue is before - the tan is after. I have a great painter in the family.

Some photos in the Senate and downstairs when we had our photo with the Governor. The photo with him in it (4th down) I've noted which one is the Governor.

A nice Thursday

We're supposed to hit 60 today - sounds nice.

A great day in Nashville yesterday - our state Rep spent much of the day introducing us around, had a tour of the Capitol, photos with our Representatives and the Governor and we were given lots of fascinating info. My head is still spinning.

A full day

Good morning! A 9 am meeting, a 1 pm meeting and a 6:30 meeting out of town - exciting day.

Tomorrow probably no post - I have to leave at 6 am and meet my LP (Leadership Putnam) class to drive to Nashville. It's our state government day - meet the Governor and our local state reps and lots of photos.

It's dark outside

I don't like this time change - woke up to pitch black and stumbled to the bathroom. It was a colder weekend too - not even above 50.

Peter Graves died yesterday - Mission Impossible is one of my favorite old TV series. He was only 83.

Dreaming of summer

We had a fun time in Alabama yesterday. I bought a $30 suit and Cindy got some $7 pants. Lots of deals - several bought electronics - one bought a $200 hi-def video camera and another a $500 17" laptop that was barely used - tons of clothes, electronics, etc - how did people ever lose all this stuff? Even large stuff like exercise machines and large paintings? I recommend when flying - travel light and put your name INSIDE your suitcase.

Anna is beginning to talk - gramps was her first word of course. She's advanced, like all of my wonderful grand children.

Off to 'Unclaimed Baggage' in a few minutes with a bus full of women - pray for me ....

An overcast day

Overcast today, but we've had several sunny days that were wonderful. The sun just lifts your mood and makes you feel better.

Tomorrow we're off to the Unclaimed Baggage store in Alabama with a group from church - I've been promised I won't be the only male!

I'm sure I'll find something I can't do without that I never heard of before.

Another fine morning here - a bit of rain but much warmer. But I've learned Tennessee winters don't fade into the night - they will return.

We talked to Rachel last night and wished her a Happy Birthday. We are so blessed with our children!
