Ready for spring ...

Good afternoon - I've not posted for awhile. There isn't much new that the kids haven't posted already on Facebook so I've gotten lazy with updating this site.
We had a great snow a couple of weeks ago and the following week it was in the 60's - it's back to 44 degrees today and we've chance of snow again this following week - but not much currently predicted.
Work and election commission keeps me busy - primary elections in a few weeks and there is a lot of things to do to prepare for that - more than I ever would have guessed.
Cindy stays busy with the county commissioner  position - sure helps keep her out of my hair!
The grand-babies growing up and we feel so far away at times. I guess a season for everything - or so they say.

It's cold outside - we got in the mid 30's last night - okay, enough of this - back to warm weather!
 Another great week - lots of stuff going on - this next week Cindy heads out to Oregon for awhile and help in birthing babies. Adele is on the way - woohoo! #10 - a great number.

Ahhh ... Saturday ...

Well, just the 2 of us again - Kaireia is back home and we're grandchild-less for awhile.

We're in the dog days of summer - we've also been getting enough rain the lawn is growing like crazy. I hate to say I'm sort of ready for fall .....

Still raining ...

Greetings - another wet and overcast day here - hopefully the fireworks don't get rained out tonight.
We're having a big 4th event at church today - we set up tents and other stuff earlier - the main event starts at 5pm - food, games, music with fireworks at 7pm or so. We're a block from the city fairgrounds so we can watch from the church's front yard - should be fun. Hope your 4th is going well.

Rain, rain and more rain

Well, a few days of rain with extreme rain yesterday and last night. Last night we saw raised water in the yards around us higher than we've ever seen it before.

I'm off work today - a long weekend - hopefully the rain holds off some.

A quiet Saturday

Greetings - mighty quiet around here - Cindy in Oregon with Kardia visiting the Adams gang - sounds like they are having a great time.
Hot and humid here - mowed the grass this morning - it rained the past couple of afternoon/evenings so finally had it dry enough to get it done.
A good week - hope you are all doing okay.

Cindy is in Ohio and returns Monday to get ready to fly to Oregon next week with Kardia - playing the bachelor here - trying to catch up on paperwork - uggg!

I hear mowers ...

Good morning - sure glad we mowed Thursday evening - sounds like all of my neighbors are out there catching up on their mowing this morning. More rain in the forecast - hopefully so, for us at least.
Hope you are all safe and sound - lots of rain down in Texas - pictures make it look pretty bad. We think and pray for you all daily.

Home again, home again ...

Greetings - we had a great trip to Indiana and back - always good to see family - always good to get home again.
Just got home from Baxter where we've wrapped up a custom home for a client. About 8,000 square feet plus decks, porches, patios, etc.
Finally getting a bit of much needed rain too - woohoo!

Well, another week come and gone. Cindy is off at a County Commissioner Budget meeting this morning - hopefully home soon and off to breakfast and a few errands. We got mowing out of the way last night so a more relaxing day ahead.
Last week I was in Sparta, Goodlettsville and Nashville. This week hopefully closer to home.
Warm weather has arrived and the humidity as well - don't complain, at least the freezing weather has left for awhile.
No big news - hope you are all doing well - enjoy your weekend.

Over the hump

Good morning - it's Thursday already - what a quick week.
Cindy left a few minutes ago to Ohio and I leave soon to work - a great day ahead.
We finished Citizen's Sheriff's Academy this week and next week is just the graduation. This week we met the SWAT team and got to shoot a lot of the different guns the police force use and carry every day. Cindy is a natural - her shotgun skills were amazing.
Warm weather is slowly coming back again - ready for it to stay.

Good morning - a great service today at church - back home for a few hours and then return to church again.
Only 60 degrees as the high today and the same most of the week - maybe our last cool spell?

Another cold week - brrr! What does it tell you when 30 degrees feels warm?
This coming week back in the 40's again and maybe a touch of 50 degrees - can hardly wait.
We're up to our ears here in busyness - if we can get the next few months behind us it may get a bit normal again.

A good day at church and then out to lunch with Galen and Charlotte - a few to-dos around the house and then an elder's meeting at church.

Good morning - what a dreary winter we've had so far - sunshine today and it looks great! We're even supposed to get in the 40's - a real heat wave!

A good but busy week - another week where I was out of town almost every day - now for the paperwork!

Well - here we are again - another week behind us - hard to believe!

One work week and then we're off on a cruise for a week- a belated 40th anniversary get-a-way.  Nothing personal, but we're hoping the weather here is miserable!

Greetings from Chilly Tennessee

Howdy - another chilly Tennessee day - I think we got to about the freezing mark today - can't believe 32 degrees feels mild compared to what we've had.

A great week so far - traveling almost every day - in Lebanon and Brentwood today - good to be back home again.

No big news - miss you all!
