Cooler weather

Good morning - we've been having cool evenings and not too hot days for the past week - very pleasant.  Well, home alone again - no grand-kids, family or in-laws - if you're bored, come on by!

A good week behind us and looking forward to another one ahead.  Can't believe September is upon us.

Catch up Saturday

 Greetings - well, the end of another great week. We had to drive to Knoxville yesterday for a graduation at Johnson Bible College of our minister's daughter - and our 2 hour drive turned into about a 4 hour drive with traffic, wrecks and road construction. We were 10 minutes late to a graduation that we thought we'd be there hours early.
Slept late, breakfast at home by my star cook and now catching up on some paperwork. A great day ahead.

Whew ...

 Good morning - another crazy week - we've another 6 to 8 weeks of this before it backs off. I had three pre-8am meetings this week out of town, 3 evenings meetings, an all day session today and next Saturday, and next week is like this week - evening and morning meetings as well as a work day - hold on, this phase will pass!!

Well, a quiet Saturday at home - that hasn't happened in weeks and weeks. Off to breakfast in a bit, a few errands and then home to review tomorrow's lesson for church and CRASH!

We're back

Good morning - we got home Saturday evening and had a great Thanksgiving with Rachel and her family. Good to go and good to be home again.
It's December already -  this year has flown with lots of changes - I think that's good - love you all!

Sunshine ... and rain

Greetings - starting off sunny this morning but rain on the way. Sorry for not a lot of photos this week - my schedule just seems messed up now. Lots of projects both in the design stage and the construction phase - I sold over $4,000,000 last year and this year seems to be on track for that again - no wonder I'm always tired! But 'ain't' God good!

Gotta go - breakfast out, mow and politikin' - hang on Saturday, we're a comin'!

Good afternoon - we've run a few errands and have a great day so far. Lunch in a bit and maybe check out a local park and just enjoy a beautiful day. No more snow!!

Good morning - we're sure tired of rain around here. Yesterday I had to go to Mt. Juliet early and it poured hard all the way over. We're ready to dry out.
Wow - Thursday already - what a fast week. How has your gone? Mine has been a good one. Count each day a blessing.

12 degrees this morning

Greetings - it's starting off mighty cold this morning. I drove to Pall Mall yesterday and ran through some hard snow and it snowed hard when I was up there as well. Weird weather!
Paperwork and a few meetings today - bunches of stuff to price up - so why am I sitting here - time to roll!

Slidin' into Thursday

Greetings on a chilly Thursday morning - mid 20's this morning and over 70 just two days ago - I reckon winter isn't gone yet.
Cindy takes off this morning to Ohio for a few days - pray for safe travels and lots of baby spoiling.

Funeral and graveside

 Saturday were the funeral and graveside in the mausoleum - always a joy to see family even in the midst of sorrow.

Good morning mateys - today is my easiest day this week - I'm already sorry I said that. No client meetings and no deadlines today - tomorrow and Friday - that all changes ...

Earlier this week they said about 70 today - now the high is projected closer to 67 or 68 with lots of rain tonight. I'm coming back as a weather man ...

Feeling Shakesperean

Greetings - I got home from work last night and we mowed the lawn, ate supper and rushed downtown to Shakespeare in the Park - a fun and chilly evening. A great way to end the work week.

Sliding into Friday

Sorry no post yesterday - I had to be in Smithville early to oversee a crew coring a slab - it turned out to be 3' thick in spots - yes, you heard correct 36" thick. I needed another problem with that job ...

Audrey and kids are home again -  a long adventure - Ohio to Oregon and back again.

Cooler evenings here and milder days - fall is in the air - it's been a very mild summer for us here.

2010 Flashback photo

Two huge projects and about 10 little ones that need to be pushed out the door today - I hope I can get most of them done!
Enjoying a bit of Bluegrass music right now as I get ready to step out into middle Tennessee and see if I get stuck behind a tractor on the way to work or get caught behind the 3 cars at the stop light going into town - life is good!!

Yawn ... yawn ...

Well, Monday sure snuck up on me - I could have used a few more zzz's this morning. Those grandkids wear you out!
Oh well, back to work to rest up.

Summer has arrived

Only mid 80's here yesterday but scorching hot around the country - drink lots of fluids and be safe my friends.
Just think - 4 months ago we had snow like in this photo and we complaining about the cold!!
