The sun is sure coming up early - not only are we within the longest days of the year, but the sun comes up in Cookeville at least an hour earlier than in San Antonio (we're in the same time zone). It's taken some getting used to! This is how I look when I wake up too - the sun makes it too bright!!
More sunshine today - feels like summer again - have a great day! What exciting thing does God have in store for us today? Do you even watch for it?
A rainy morning - we're already got the 5th wettest June ever and moving up as I write this. Just glad we mowed last night - every 4 days is kind of crazy, huh? Never remember mowing that often in San Antonio. And the grass was pretty tall last night too!
The rain woke me up this morning - it is pouring out and the weather map looks like we're on the front of a huge rain cloud. I can hear the grass growing from up here in the upper floor office.
As a kid I remember laying in bed and thinking that I was working out what I was going to wear - It made me think I was up and going even though I was still lying there and barely awake.
Well, off to church - at least I am finally awake on the outside.
I mowed the yard last night - thank goodness as it poured a few hours later. Today starts off pretty foggy with more rain projected. Hey, at least in Texas we knew the daily weather - hot, dry and clear - with no rain; repeat 1000 times.
I like this picture - I love the differences in hair and skin color. I hear Link is growing like crazy too.
Neidon must take after his father - his lovely mother would never act like this.
Rain, rain and more rain in our forecast again. My yard needs mowing desperately - it will be 5 days long tonight - arggg! I'm thinking if I convert to a hayfield I can wait longer between mowing!
It looks nice out this morning - we had a hard storm last night - part of Cookeville got large hail and high wind damage - fortunately, we just got rain.
Here's a cute couple to start off your day. That Anna sure has a nice smile - she makes me smile too.
Good morning - now don't look at me like that - you know you need to get up and get ready for church! You know you'll have a good time once you get there, so get going!
We had almost 2" of rain yesterday morning in parts of town in just a few hours - my yard will be ready to mow again by mid week.
Well, the yard was mowed last night and it looks like rain again this morning - grow. baby, grow. No wait, that's another line. Anyway, a nice Saturday and we're off and running.
Isn't that Noema a cutie? It's fun to watch babies develop their own personality.
Here's my good looking grandson! Neidon is glad to see another boy in the family - Link will be a great companion before we know it!
I should have mowed the lawn last night - we've got a rainy morning. Maybe the sun will come out before the afternoon is gone and dry out the grass - or not ...
Aren't these kids growing up? Wow - Kaireia is still my baby but she isn't really! There is something about the first grandchild that holds your heart forever. God is amazingly good.
I had to fill up with gas yesterday - and had filled up just the day before - I don't enjoy that with today's gas prices. At least I had some good meetings yesterday.
An in-office day today - let's get some paperwork done!! Woohoo!
I've got a lot of driving and meetings today - Murfreesboro first this morning and then Madison this afternoon. A great day for a Friday - out of the office!
Our baby had a birthday yesterday - I'm talking about Reed, of course. Now our baby has babies of his own - time sure flies. Enjoy each day!
Neidon and Kairiea are spending some time with Grandma and Grandpa Kleeman, so Kardia and Noema are having some alone time - pretty rare in that household!
Cindy got home safe and sound. The world is normal again!
No trips today but lots of paperwork - let's see what adventures are in store for us!
Thanks for sharing these photos Terry. I heard from Cindy the performances were great - sorry to have missed it! A foggy morning here - can barely see the homes across the street. Got maybe 1/2" of rain yesterday afternoon following super high winds.
Cindy heads up to Ohio today to see a couple of ballet pros give a show. Should be fun!!
I wrote my 2000th blog posting this week. Times fun when you are having flies!
Have a great day - and thanks for all of the birthday cards, calls and emails. Unfortunately I was in Madison, Nashville and Murfreesboro yesterday and got home later than usual - messages on the answering machine were nice though!
