We're relaxing and watching Fox News' Christmas Special I recorded last night - pretty good. Just anxious for kids to get in tonight.

I'll have to put up with this little face for a whole week!

Power just went out second time this morning - grrr - thank goodness for battery backup on the computer! Have a wonderful day.

Chilly this morning. A bit slow getting going - stayed up too late - because no work today!!

Breakfast, errands and back home again. Church tonight and family coming in tomorrow. Holidays are great.

The grandkids are getting ready to come to Tennessee - I won't get into what that is comprised of, but it doesn't have to do with firearms.

Our last day of work this year - woohoo! I had an 11 hour day yesterday, and already have 40 hours in for the week so I'm ready.

The lights are up, the presents are wrapped and Cindy is cleaning like crazy. We must have company coming.

Last workday of the week

Yesterday was a great day, I finally got a permit on a church addition in Madison that has taken 3.5 months to get through the city! We mobilize next week and break ground the 3rd of January - woohoo!

This is my last workday of the week. Tomorrow is a half-day at work and is mostly taken up by a office party. It will be interesting to see how that goes. They usually rent the high school gym or the Chamber of Commerce meeting room and have a huge breakfast and gift exchange - with over 100 employees we usually have about 250 or so in attendance.

With the down economy, they are going to do an open house at our office instead for field employees and staff to come through and wish each other Merry Christmas and hand out gifts - should prove interesting.

Well, off to work - have a great day.

Breakfast buddy is coming

Well, my breakfast buddy will be here Sunday. I hear she has started taking a few steps. She heard Lincoln was crawling and decided to step it up to the next level.

Pouring rain last night - not sure how much, but it seemed like it was all night long. A paperwork day today - I need to pretty much wrap everything up for the year as tomorrow has meetings all day and Friday is the office party and then VACATION!

Anna and her gramps are glad the NBA lock-out is over and we're anxious to watch pro basketball again. I'm glad we have something in common.

Paperwork this morning and meeting a new client in Mt. Juliet this afternoon - a factory that builds car seats - woohoo!

Have a great day - we're to get rain today and tomorrow. My yard lo9oks like it needs mowing again. I don't think they do that in TN in the winter.

One more week and then - "I'm on vacation!"

A whole week off and babies all around me for most of that time. I'll have to straighten out the kids that the rest of you spoil all the time. A tough job but I'm up to it.

Off to Nashville this morning and hopefully back before too late. A good busy week ahead - it will fly by.

Greetings - almost church time as I hurriedly type this in. Looks cool out but supposedly warmer then yesterday. I don't think we got past mid 30's yesterday - it felt cold!

Cindy was working on the Christmas letter yesterday and I was thinking about what a great year we had - 2 new grand-babies, family reunions with parents who are still strong and healthy - what a blessing. And the older grand-kids are wonderful - what fun!




If God cared for us this past year, what great things must He have in our future. God is good.

It is cold outside - yesterday the temperature dropped all day. It feels like winter again.

A nice relaxing day - some errands, SS lesson, a few inside to do items and just taking it easy.

A good Friday morning to you - another week until the kids come. Overcast today and rain projected.

Off to Murfreesboro today - looking ahead to a spring project with a client. It's great to have work ahead of me.

A rainy day ahead - what's new?

An overcast morning and rain projected all day. The good thing - it's been warmer this last week or more with all of this rain.

I finished the outside Christmas lights last night with Cindy's help and then off to church for the annual Christmas party. Lots of fun - good fun and great friends.

We still have some of this cough left - can't quite seem to shake it. We're ready to get completely well.

Paperwork this morning and Murfreesboro this afternoon. Not a bad day at all.

Our church has its Christmas party tonight which should be a lot of fun too.

Hang on - a new week has started

Good morning on a brisk morning here on the Cumberland Plateau. I believe the weekends go by even faster than the weeks do. Our living nativity is over and onto the holidays.

I got part of the Christmas lights up outside and ran out of clips. Cindy has a tree up and stockings. Kids stuff is laid out everywhere to wrap and get ready for stockings. Wow - it looks like Christmas has hit the Adams house!

Baby, it's cold outside! Another cold morning with highs only in the 40's today.

We had a great time at the Tech BB game last night - they won by 1 point in overtime - whew, too close! We're in the second row - great season tickets - did I mention, we love basketball?

Cindy put up a small tree and like 50 zillion stockings yesterday. Where did all of those kids come from?

Wow - another great day ahead. Last month I saw a lots of folks who decided to post something they were thankful for each day of Facebook. I saw lots of things listed and they were all great.

I think I'm most thankful for a God who delivered me from the world & it's method of doing things & showed us a way that we, along with our loved ones, could be with Him forever.

Good morning - this week has flown by - how about yours? An easy day today and Cindy and I work at the church's live nativity this evening. All I can say is - bundle up!

Low 20's this morning - another cold day. We got some snow yesterday but the ground was so wet it melted pretty quick.

No big news today - paperwork, a business luncheon, off to Crossville and then a Chamber of Commerce meeting this evening.

Officially, we've had our first snow, but the chances of our first snow accumulation are pretty high today. Woke up to 34 as the high - this should be an interesting weather day!

Paperwork and a few meetings today - church tonight - we're wrapping up Romans and the church live nativity this weekend.

Wow - some loud thunder and bright lightening last night - I don't think I was even able to count between them for a bit last night. I thought my grass was done growing, but we've had enough rain and warm weather that it appears to need one more cutting - argggg!!

20 degrees outside - brrrr!!

A good cold morning to you all. Sorry no post yesterday - I was out the door before the time I typically even get out of bed. I had to be in Nashville by 9 am and back in Madison by 1 pm and barely made it home for church. Time flies when you are having fun!

The frost is hard this morning - looks like a winter wonderland. Let's see, how many days to spring?
