Kardia and her Grandpa (Dale) Kleeman back in August of this year. At least Dale is enjoying himself - Kardia seems to just be taking it all in.

Grand-children

Rachel took this Monday of the grand kids. I see the stone remembering Kairou as well. As I ponder on the love I have for my kids and grand kids, I realize the love God has for His own son and the love He has for us.

Kaireia got a camera for her birthday (thanks grandma Adams - I told her a big no - trust me).

Anyway, Neidon found out what the word paparazzi meant. This photo will look bad on the front cover of Time magazine.

Greetings on this cold and sunny Sunday morning! Yesterday we voted, gave blood, ran errands and went to Rock Island State Park. Can you see our leaves are falling! Fall is in the air up here in Tennessee.

Little Princess

Kardia had a great time at the party. She thought she was 5 years old too!

I ran into these two love birds at the Princess Party. They look too happy for their own good.

They threw away their hopes and dreams of fixing their home to join in the frolic and festivities of the Princess Party.

Everyone got in the act

You can see the whole gang was at the party. It was funny how even Kardia walked up and sat down and thought she was one of the 5 year old Princesses. You can see her Uncle Reed helped her out with her craft - he is pretty crafty.

Balloons are fun

Not everyone came to the party as a Princess. There were a few Princes as well.

No balloon was safe but they sure had a fun time.

We're back

We survived a Princess birthday party - I saw more pink than in my honeymoon suite 30+ years ago!

The Princess and her court are happy - long live the Princess!

Two more days.

We see the kids in a couple of days. Actually, I'm leaving work early tomorrow and we'll drive until late to get there.

Rain last night - the Cookeville weather guy says almost 3/4" so far and it is dark and dreary outside this morning. It looks great!

A cool front is coming - bundle up!

We're supposed to get rain and cooler weather before this week is over - we're ready! Leaves are turning, nights are cooler and it feels great when we walk every night.

I had a link to the Cookeville Weather Guy's site a few days ago (and here it is again). Michael Detwiler who runs this site is a great guy and has become a good friend. I prefer it over many 'commercial' bigger sites to see what is happening in the local weather. If you live local, I'd recommend saving the link.

Fall is in the air

Our days are running between 70 and 80 degrees and the evenings between 40 and 50 degrees - the leaves are beginning to turn as well. It's a beautiful season in Tennessee.

If you want your grandma and grandpa Adams to visit next weekend, raise your hands!

Cindy and I went to Shakespeare in the park last night and saw Hamlet. It was 3.5 hours long and great - but long - and cold - brrrr.

We drive up to Ohio late Thursday and spend a long weekend with them. Hooray!

It was cold last night when we walked - brrrr! It got down to about 40 last night and only mid 60's today. We ain't in south Texas any more!
