Morning has broken

Did you remember the time change?

Had a message on my phone when I turned it on this morning - my folks are back from their cruise and in Miami ready to disembark.

Remember Caleb who I asked you to pray for? His condition has worsened. Click HERE to find out more.

Off to church soon - love you all!

Over 1" of rain

Anna
Cindy got home during a downpour last night - thanks for garage and automatic garage doors!

A few errands today and a lazy day too - woohoo! I like 3 day weekends.

Cindy is so used to being around grand-kids she cut up my meat on my plate last night! Not really, but it will take a while for her to come over to adult talk again. Ha!

It's always good to be back to normal. We love it when our kids are with us, we love being just the two of us too. Each is good in its own way.

Have a wonderful day!!

Arggg ... Monday already ...

Lincoln in Lincoln
Well, we're off. My to-do list is so long this week it's beyond belief. The good thing is that after a super hard week, Rachel and the kids will come in this Friday for a week - woohoo!

I did have a great weekend - God is good! Have a great week - love you all.

Thursday ... rain??

Anna
Greetings - sorry no post yesterday - had to go early to Rockwood about an hour from here. The good thing - I was back by 9:30.

Two crazy days ahead - a huge bid due tomorrow again for Wacker Polysilicates. The days just fly by.

Some of my favorite verses from Psalm 116:1-2 "I love the Lord, because he hears me; he listens to my prayers. He listens to me every time I call to him."

Marvelous Monday

Anna, Lincoln and Cindy
Okay, it might not be marvelous, but it is still a good day which just happens to be Monday.

I've another major bid due at the end of the week and who knows what else pops in the middle of the week. Serendipity baby!

Have a blessed week - God is good.

Thankful for Thursday

Lincoln
Another week is flying by - I've lots of stuff to do today - don't want it to go too fast!

We're still needing rain - what we've got has been pretty minimal so far. I know many of you are dry as well - pray for rain. At least our mowing has slowed down to every 10 days to 2 weeks or so - we have our life back!

Remember the new grand-babies and momma's in your prayers - pray for health and safety.

Jeremiah 1:15 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you ..."

Sliding into Friday

Anna and Cindy
Another fast week - we have a bid due Monday morning so all of the sub bids are to come in today. At least that's the plan.

We mowed the lawn last night - still dry, but it was so tall it really needed it. We still need rain desperately - a week without rain here is probably like a month or more without rain in south Texas. Our grass just can't take it.

Better run - have a great day!!

Mid-week crazies

Anna
Greetings - had a great trip yesterday to Charleston, TN and back (the Wacker site). I counted 22 cranes yesterday - construction everywhere - amazing! We have 4 contracts in 2 buildings - just a small piece of the puzzle.

Paperwork this morning, Monterey and Crossville this afternoon - this day will fly!

Swinging in Illinois

Grandma Harvey swinging our grand-babies. They enjoyed it!

Weather-wise it's been a great weekend. Cool yet sunny - it doesn't get any better than this.

What happened to those Spurs? We're now 2-2 in the series - let's pick it up guys. Next game tomorrow night.

Now to something that really matters - church in a few minutes! I hope you are going - don't get lazy on my now.

Have a great day - I think Cindy returns too - better clean up the place!

Happy Birthday Irene

Happy Birthday Irene - pray it's a grand one! Tell Amos to take you out someplace nice!

Here is what Cindy is doing right now - chasing grand-kids! Sounds terrible, huh?

It's Friday - have a grand old day.

A long, long weekend

Good morning - breakfast, a few errands and a nice lazy Saturday.

We're debating on whether to go someplace Sunday after church and come back Monday - depends what we find. No plans, no problem.

Have a great day!!

Foggy morning

Lincoln and Anna
Good morning - yesterday I had a quick trip to Cleveland, Tennessee for a pre-construction (pre-bid) meeting on two large projects for Wacker Polysilicon. They have 300 acres and are building a $1.5 Billion plant here in Tennessee. Best of all - no government funding!
A busy paperwork day today - two bids due and I need to start on the Wacker bid packages.
    Enjoy these crazy rockers!

Even got a diploma - it's official!

A nice relaxing weekend - a few errands but just reading, relaxing and resting - the three R's of weekends.

Well, you can see Reed did get a diploma so it must be official - he didn't hear about his last paper until we got there so we were all sweating bullets. Hey, he could have been pulled out of line like that incident back in 1972, but ...that's another story.

Anyway, there you have it - he's all learned up.

Enjoy church - hope you have a great day. Enjoying the Hillbenders on Bluegrass radio while writing this - God is good!

The parents are proud

A good Saturday morning to you. Wow - last week went from slow to crazy. I ended up the week with 5 major jobs that have to go out this next week in some form. I love it!

No big news today - thought I'd show off a few more graduation photos - we had lots of fun!

Behind the scenes

A good Friday morning to you all. Here are all of us getting ready for a graduation. Even though Reed's graduation outfit was cool, Lincoln really pulled off a fashion hit with his outfit. At his age, there is a fine line between shorts, capris and long pants.
Quick snack before graduation

Well, a great day ahead - meeting this morning with some business people and a site visit this afternoon south of Sparta to a custom home we have started.

Wacky and wonderful Wednesday - wow!

As you can imagine, with two sets of grandparents the grand-kids were really spoiled. I was the only rational one of the bunch and really tried to straighten them out.

We mowed the lawn last night and are trying to get back into things after being gone. I think Cindy has caught up with laundry and my paperwork pile is dwindling. Wow - what if we had been out of town more than 4 days!

Gotta go - love you all!

One day down, four to go

Anna
Good morning - wow, I crashed last night - those quick out of town weekends are killers - but fun! Another day and I'll be 100% again.

Rockwood yesterday and Crossville today - still getting client calls, just need a big project to sign up now.

Gotta go - hang in there - love you all.
