Rachel took this of her and Kardia in the mirror - you probably noticed they were backwards? Rachel was trying to get Kardia to smile.

I tell you - When I look in the mirror, I can't smile either. (But this photo makes me smile!)

Christmas is coming ...

This is from last Christmas. Add a third grandchild in the back getting into the tree, and you'll have the whole picture as they decorate for Christmas! I wish I was there to help!!

I'm thankful for my wife, my children and my grandchildren. I'm thankful for my grandparents and my parents. I'm thankful for my sisters and their families. I'm thankful for God and his daily blessings on my life and that of those around me. I'm thankful for my church & church family. I'm thankful for friends - those who I've known a few years and those I've known a lifetime.

Kardia can't ever be alone or do anything alone. She will always have a couple of helpers waiting to run in and 'save her'.

I woke up early, realized I was missing the shopping already and turned over and went back to sleep. Laura wouldn't go with me anyway.

Pretty smile

Our little girl is four years old and is a real sweet heart. She has her grandpa's heart, that's for sure.

Rachel had some photos taken and as she bought enough, they gave them all to her on a CD as well, so I've been sharing a few with you.

It's so hard to get Neidon to smile, but his Uncle Reed was like that as well.

Where is that sheetrocker?

This morning we pulled wire and tonight we hung the fans temporarily and checked our the wiring job - everything is a go!

Hopefully the sheet rocker comes quick as we have no furniture we can sit on in the family room - we spend the time laying on the floor admiring our ceiling handiwork (not!).

Relaxing evening

Oh yes, Cindy and I went home and just relaxed. After cutting holes all over in the ceiling, that is. More photos on this project in the coming days.

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, we had Thanksgiving early with the usual suspects, I mean family.

Lots of food, fellowship and even a nap or two. It won't have been the same without these typical events you see in the photos.

Sundays are fun!
