Nice to stay in town

Greetings - I enjoyed the Wacker site visit yesterday - but only problem is it's 2 hours away and a 1 hour time change - always exhausting and makes me appreciate being in the office.
We enjoyed the Putnam County Republican party meeting last night - amazing how many folks we recognize or know about - it's exciting to see so many conservatives running this year.
Well - I'm off - have a great day.

Two degrees

Mighty cold here- got gas in truck yesterday and my ears went numb in under 7 minutes. Have a great Wednesday- Adams kids rolling in tonight!

Family time

Good morning - of course we had a lot of family time in south Texas as well. It's wasn't all fun and games ...

It's Monday - what again? Reed, Audrey and the kids are coming later this week for a few days - woohoo!

Spending time with cousins

Cousin Alicia taught Kaireia how to cross stitch - I think they enjoyed spending time with each other.

Cousins are great!

Hey - a new week, we're off and running - make it a great one!

Minus 6 degrees

A chilly greeting this morning - now I tell you, I always thought freezing temperatures were cold - 30 to 32 degrees or so; I'll tell you, minus numbers are downright nasty. We're to get up to 20 degrees or so today - it will feel like a heat wave!

So, the funeral is past, the south Texas trip begins - after about 10 straight rain hours from Indiana to Little Rock, the sun comes out and the fun really begins. Yeah - we're on vacation!

PS Even the beavers are bigger in Texas ...

We're back!

Wow - almost 3,000 miles and 11 states later we're back home and exhausted. I'm catching up on stuff and getting ready for work tomorrow - Cindy is on her way to meet Rachel and return Kaireia - they all sounded homesick for her!

Watch for more photos the coming days - we saw a lot of family, friends and had fun, fun, fun.

All I can say is - the Alamo will never be the same!

We love you all - Happy New Year!!

5 degrees in Cookeville

Young eyes don't need a magnifying glass - that's all I'm saying.

We had an inch or two of snow yesterday morning and light flurries much of the day. More expected tonight through Tuesday with more accumulation - 4" to 9" projected in areas.

Pray for Rach - she started labor yesterday and Cindy has her bags packed ready to roll. Not sure if a false start or an early baby - just pray for her and Noema.

Full hands

Neidon likes to grip the sides of a slide and go down slow and gently if the slide is very long. It pays to be cautious.

And Kardia is just taking it all in. She loves watching her brother and sister.

We had lots of rain this weekend - it was great and our lawn loved it. We may have grass after all.

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, we had Thanksgiving early with the usual suspects, I mean family.

Lots of food, fellowship and even a nap or two. It won't have been the same without these typical events you see in the photos.

7.10.04 Deja Vu

This photo was about 3 years ago, but we look even worse now. Rain, rain and ... more rain. Over 7" month to date in San Antonio. We're ready for that sunshine we used to be so famous for before global cooling, I mean warming. Hmmm ... we're 5 to 10 degrees below normal for over two months - go figure.

Look back in time ...

Remember this visit? Looking good Matt!
