I'm tired of cold weather

Greetings - I cancelled my Murfreesboro trip - they got freezing rain and we got a touch of weather last night too - so rather safe than sorry.

We're ready for spring - this cold weather has gone on way too long this year - I almost forgot what it's like to go out without a heavy coat and all bundled up.

 Good morning - wow, another Friday! Where in the world did that week go to? Snow missed us again but it sure is dog-gone cold!

 Good morning - well, so far we've missed the snow - the warning is in Cookeville until 6 pm - hmmmm.

You can see we enjoyed the River Walk Mall in San Antonio - of course we had to eat at the food court and then see the Imax version of the Alamo before we saw the real thing.

Shopping

Good morning - you can see we all enjoyed the Mexican Market in downtown San Antonio. Lots of 'good stuff' to see and buy ... or not.

Off to Rockwood this morning - chance of snow tonight and tomorrow morning - you all be safe!

Mexican Market

 We started our downtown San Antonio visit with the Mexican Market - Kaireia had a great time - we've been there so many times over the 30 years we lived there.
In the top photo, in the back is Santa Rosa hospital where Rachel and Reed where born. This is an historic area!

We're back!

 Wow - almost 3,000 miles and 11 states later we're back home and exhausted. I'm catching up on stuff and getting ready for work tomorrow - Cindy is on her way to meet Rachel and return Kaireia - they all sounded homesick for her!

Watch for more photos the coming days - we saw a lot of family, friends and had fun, fun, fun.

All I can say is - the Alamo will never be the same!

I'm back!

I tried to get on yesterday but our cable and internet were down. Evidently about 1/3 of Cookeville was without power yesterday morning from 5 am to 9 pm - did you know how hard it can be to get to work if the traffic lights are out?
The little boy Caleb I've asked you to pray for has gotten a new heart this week! Click here Thank you Lord!
We're still having cool evenings and nice days - leaves are turning - fall has arrived!

Good morning - all our bags are packed, we're ready to go. Cordova bound and Cookeville in our rear-view mirror.

We mowed the yard yesterday and I think we can leave the home alone for a few days. I was just thinking this yard takes more care than a pet.

Looks like a cooler week for here and northward for a few days - even some freeze warnings out. I hope no plant problem - I knew the warm weather was too good to be true - ha!

Good morning - not quite Riverwalk weather this morning, but at least above the freezing mark.

Anna and Audrey are home from Oregon - thanks for your travel prayers. Rachel is feeling poorly - keep praying for her. She is only weeks away from her due date.

Alarm went off pretty early

Well, it's back to work. My body didn't want to get up early - but here goes!

19 degrees in Cookeville this morning, but it is supposed to warm up to high 40's today and sunny.
