Babies coming today!

Our babies get in later this afternoon. Oh yes - we've got tickets to the Titans game in Nashville this afternoon too. The game will be great - the babies greater!

One more day!

My babies will be here tomorrow (and those big people who live with them) - hooray!!

Favorite son-in-law

I'm remiss as I rarely show pictures of Darin. He doesn't really need flowers to look good. He's a blessing to our family. Plus he had wonderful children!

We were adding ceiling fans to our home in San Antonio a year ago today and it is 27 degrees this morning in Cookeville.

A year ago

When I run out of new photos, I like to go back and see what was going on a year ago on the exact same date.

Evidently a year ago, Rachel was working on self-portraits. Kaireia now has a camera so that problem is gone.

Punkin' season

Well, Neidon and I have gathered our last punkin' of the season - last night got in the teens and we lost the last of our crop. It'll be a hard winter with a lot less punkin' bread, but we'll just grit our teeth and hang in there.

It's only Tuesday

Good morning - a cold night last night - below freezing. Yesterday, I had an afternoon meeting and an evening meeting in Nashville and it felt pretty cold and very windy coming home.

It's cold!

It was to cold to go to a park this past weekend, but hopefully our chances aren't gone for the year. We've really enjoyed checking out the different parks.

New shoes

I like how Kardia thinks - you get new shoes, they feel good, then wear them all the time. I think the folks who wear those crocs have the same attitude - looks, schmoks!

Fall colors

Not only are the tree leaves turning, but many of the bushes are just as beautiful. And yet, they still pale in comparison to my beautiful grand-daughter. I love the stockings!

Actually, I'm not sure what is going on here, but they are both all smiles and seem to be having a fun time.

Looking back to see ...

If you saw the barn in yesterday's post, there is a road along and behind it. This photo is from that road (and next to the barn) and is looking back toward our house. I've added a red line to identify our home on the other side of the hay field.

By the way - Sunday it only got to about 44 degrees and last night got to the mid 20's. If you're in south Texas reading this, DON'T RUB IT IN!!

Fall colors

I think we're at the height of the fall colors. The rain and colder weather has really forced the colors and leaves are falling everywhere. These are some trees close to where we live and the barn is across the street (I did have to zoom a bit and crop the barn photo). Doesn't God have a great imagination?! Who else could have thought of this!!

Out with the old - in with the new

Well, we moved our offices yesterday and I now have a view. Well, at least of the Arbys across the street. If you look further, you can see some trees turning colors and Highway 40 about another 100 yards away. (I'm looking direct south)

On the move

Our office is moving this weekend and we've been packing, trashing, sorting and preparing for several weeks. Imagine moving an office after being in one location for 18 years - plus every business card, letterhead, brochure and piece of paper we mail or hand out has to be updated with our new address. Maybe the government will help with a bail-out.

Drive careful

Don't take out your election frustrations in the car today. That little squirrel didn't cause the election outcome - let him live. Live and let live.

But I am pretty ticked the Spurs lost!!
