The party is over ....

Time to move on, the party is over. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and got everything you wanted. I wanted a nice quiet Christmas with someone I loved - and I got it!

But the story of Jesus has just begun ... Luke 2:³³ The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him. ³⁴ Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, ³⁵ so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too."

Travel safe this week

Many are traveling this week - pray for safety on the roads for friends and family.
^{Luke 2:4} So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. ⁵He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.

This week will be a blur

Snow nearby but not at our house. We baby-sit for some friends baby and it snowed most of the evening at their house and halfway home. But we got home to rain and no snow.

I think some little folks I know are really getting excited for Christmas. As well as some older ones who are expecting a new addition in their family!

A cold Sunday

It we had punkins, there would definitely be frost on them this morning - brrrr. Low 20's with high around 40.
