Red-headed gals

Well, I can taste 'V-A-c-a-t-i-o-n" in the air already. A wild day yesterday in Knoxville and a busy day today and then ... freedom! Woohoo (a little Rebel yell)

My Knoxville project has contract written all over it and they want to proceed before year end - go to your happy place and think good thoughts for me - whatever - just pray for God's will!

Have a great Christmas and New Year and I'll be back in a bit over a week. I love you all and thanks for following my family this year.

Three more days of work and then ... I'm on Vacation!

A crazy work week - a huge bid due Tuesday and then 'clean my desk up' Wednesday. I'm way behind on cold calls too - sounds fun, huh? That's why they call it work ...

Dress up Sunday

It's off to church! A bit of frost right now, but it should be a nice day here - pushing 40 degrees - a real heat wave.

Three more days of work and then 'Gone to Texas', as they used to say.

We set up a place in the basement for the grandkids to give shows for us - lots of fun!

Snow on the ground this morning but hopefully no more today. We're imaging that a week from today we'll be in San Antonio enjoying warm weather - woohoo!

Overcast in Cookeville

The weather may be dreary, but these old grandparents have light and joyous hearts. We had a wonderful year and 2011 proves to be just as wonderful. Two more grandchildren to join the family and we're excited. Welcome to Noema and Lincoln!

More work

I can't get online with my new computer - will keep trying. I've a photo all ready too!

We're to get freezing rain, sleet and snow starting around noon - interesting day ahead.

I'm back!

Well, another 3 hours or so last night transferring files over to the new computer. It is fast ;-)

Lots of snow here in the last day or so and more expected Wednesday. San Antonio over the Christmas to New Year break is sounding mighty nice right now.

Still working on it

I can't get my old photoshop software to work on Windows 7 so trying a new software - not happy with the photo resizing feature - I'll figure it out soon.

A blizzard here - Live Nativity cancelled as well as all schools, etc. I'm sure the office will be open though ...

Getting closer

I'm posting this on the new computer - now to move my photos and 7 years worth of stuff over. At least the new computer has 1.5 terabytes of storage - lots of room for a digital pack rat like me. Cindy won't let me do it in real life! Don't tell her I said that.

Well, two nights of working live nativity in our church and one last night tonight and we're free. We stood in the rain two hours last night - ponchos helped, but I was a wise man and didn't feel the part standing in freezing rain. Snow is projected to roll in today around noon so tonight should prove interesting - to say the least.

New computer soon

My new computer has shipped and should arrive tomorrow. I hope to be back on schedule next week for photo postings.

Cindy returns tomorrow from Ohio - got to see Lincoln Aaron Adams via text photo this week. His sister Anna wasn't impressed.

Noema Irene Kleeman is doing well too - just weeks away. The first part of next year is going to be busy and exciting.

Snowy weekend

Well, the snow is gone, but we had some nice flurries much of yesterday. Even more projected next weekend.

My computer is running like molasses - sorry for the lack of pictures. My new computer got pushed out a bit - everyone must be ordering for Christmas.

It's too quiet

Well, a busy week, but lots more quiet than last week. Thanksgiving was fun while it lasted.

My computer is up for a few minutes so posting a quick note. We had snow on our deck Monday morning and more expected tomorrow with a high around 32 degrees.

Mashed potato taste tester - hmmm ...

My Computer is 7 years old this coming week, which in Computer years is like 103. It had congestive heart failure and a seizure at the same time a few days ago. I'm getting this out during a period of consciousness, but it may not last. My new computer is being built today and we should have it soon. (PS I did get a full backup - hooray)

In the meantime, enjoy my sweetheart. She can seem so mature at times and we have the greatest talks. She is a special girl!
