We finally talked to Kardia to wish her a happy birthday last night. Her birthday was a week ago, but we each had too much going on to get together with her.
Good morning - a cool 60 degrees here in Cookeville as we begin the day. I got a new job on contract yesterday so off to Crossville today to start the permit and design phases - woohoo!

We did take a 'short' hike in Sevierville. If Anna could walk the whole way, you know it wasn't too long. But it did get pretty steep.

Still having internet connect problems - the reason is that my desktop is on the wireless network and not hard-wired - I need to pull a wire thru the walls and get this resolved - easier said than done.

At the family reunion - We did take one hike up to a cave opening - and I use the word cave loosely. Notice two of the gals are wearing tutus - appropriate wear for most anything.
Well, Cindy could be a sister - she's known my own sisters since Janice was probably about 6 yrs old and Sandra was about 11. We had a good time catching up at the reunion.

Good morning - feels like I've been gone forever - Sevierville was a crazy mess of bumper to bumper cars and overpriced stores, but the cabin and get together with family was great! A great area - nice and quiet and a feeling of solitude - if possible with 26 people.
The family reunion in Sevierville was great - and it is great to be home again. Here are my folks with all the great grandkids - woohoo!
