Ready to crash

We just got home - church, Sunday school, church, lunch, reception for minister candidate and now home again- whew! Would someone hold me so I can nap? Please?

A front is coming through with rain and the temperature is dropping - coming home from church we saw all the leaves were dropping like crazy off the trees and it looked 20 degrees colder than it really was. This week is to start with highs only near 70 - woohoo!

Have a blessed week!

Another fine day in Tennessee

One year ago
Good morning! Another great day - hope your goes as well.

Mostly paperwork today - this week has flown by!

We tend to use prayer as a last resort, but God wants it to be our first line of defense. We pray when there's nothing else we can do, but God wants us to pray before we do anything at all.
Most of us would prefer, however, to spend our time doing something that will get immediate results. We don't want to wait for God to resolve matters in His good time because His idea of 'good time' is seldom in sync with ours

Chattanooga today

Kardia and Laura
Greetings - mom just called and told me my Uncle Bob Pancake had passed away this morning. Pray for the family as they mourn his passing.

Busy week ahead - Chattanooga today, back Tuesday afternoon, lots of deadlines this week and Brian's wedding this coming weekend. Hang in there.

Ecc 3:1-4 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

The worlds is my oyster ... whatever that means

What to do, what to do ...

The day is laid out fresh and clean before me. Breakfast, some errands and some surprises ahead. It is thundering so rain is rolling in.

A little boy is beside me, now he's not, now he's downstairs, now he's back up again - oh, for a bit of that kind of energy.

You all have a great day - I love you all!!

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

A Fun Guy

Aunt Martha and my dad
We're having fun with Neidon - he wore me out in the basement last night playing basketball and air hockey. He has a bit more energy than I do.

A catch-up day today - lots of paperwork, clean out some old plans and papers and just get myself together to start the next project.

Wild and Wacky Wednesday

Anna
Good morning - a nice cool morning here, around 60 degrees. We sat on the patio last night, but as the sun went down it felt downright chilly. Well, the heat is about to turn around so we're told not much of that cooler weather for awhile.
I hope you are all doing great - our church has a mission group returning from Thailand today - they should have some great stories.
No more news - have a safe and blessed day!

No news here - slight chance of rain but otherwise hot and a bit humid. My neighbor mowed the lawn last night but mine looks to dry for that. Mostly paperwork today and will try to get home a bit early - it's Friday!!

Good morning - rain and a bit cooler high - high's mid 80's today - pleasant weather - we need the rain.

I saw it is hot with heat warnings in Texas - be careful there!

Better go - need to be in office by 7 for a bid that is due at 10 am - at least we can email it in to the client.

A rainy weekend

Rach and Noema
Good morning - mowed the yard last night - it was so tall we had to mow the whole yard twice and some sections 3 and 4 times - uggg! It's growing so fast we may have to mow again tomorrow or Monday. It sure ain't Texas grass!

Well, off to breakfast, a few errands and just enjoying a day off. Have a wonderful day.

Come on out, it's Friday

Anna
Rain yesterday and a slight chance today - adds up to lawn mowing this weekend?! Next week some 70 degree days - spring is right around the corner. (Did winter ever really come?)

Mostly paperwork this morning, an attic inspection this afternoon to determine structural walls and hopefully off early this afternoon.

I pray you had a wonderful week!

Room at the inn?

Laura reading to Kaireia, Anna and Kardia
A chilly day in Tennessee - just home from church and ready for a roaring fireplace!
Well, exciting news - another grand-baby is on the way! The Kleemans called us a few nights ago to tell us the exciting news. My quiver is getting full!
Laura is going to need a bigger lap to hold more of the kids!
Have a blessed day - God is good.

I need a baby

Noema and Lincoln
I could us a baby fix right now - I confess I'm addicted - I love my grand-kids and love to play with them and am sure missing them now. In the meantime, I'll just enjoy this photo.

Snowing out and 22 degrees - well, winter has finally come. It snowed all the way back from Murfreesboro last night too. I'm freezing!!

Who's spoiling my grand-daughter?

Kardia, Dad & Aunt Martha
Good morning - high 20's out this morning - brrrr! Another cold day ahead.

Sorry no photo yesterday - had too be in the office early to final review a large bid that was going in at 8:30 am. A team of us stayed late the night before to get it mostly ready.

Another paperwork day - catching up is good! Have a blessed day.

It's freezing out!

Noema and great-grandma
A chilly 28 out this morning but supposed to hit 50 today - we'll see as they said that yesterday and it never made it. At least no snow - a dry day so far.

A hard bid due tomorrow morning, so I'll be working with a team of 8 to 10 folks today getting that ready as we pore over 400 or 500 bids that have already started coming in. I know how to have a fun time!!

Enjoy this picture of two gals in the Smoky Mountain area of Tennessee. One looks pretty wiggly!

The pre-zoning meeting went well - we're a step closer to ground breaking!

A paperwork day today - trying to catch up. Hope your day goes well. Hug somebody close.

Hiking is hard work

We did take a 'short' hike in Sevierville. If Anna could walk the whole way, you know it wasn't too long. But it did get pretty steep.

Well, almost church time - we have the nursery today - having to play with babies - hard work!

Mid 60's this morning - feels more like fall.
