Friday ... finally ...

Good morning - 2 huge bids due today so it's going to be crazy - hopefully we're not there until 6:30pm like a month or so ago - why are bids due on Friday? I bet no one is there to review them.

Well, you can see from the photo that Asher took a bit to warm up to me - we did become pretty good buds though.

Growing up

Rhiza likes to pull up on stuff - our babies are growing up! We're going up in another week for a ballet recital and will get to spoil all of our babies.

Mostly paperwork today - trying to wrap up a lot of projects this week and start pricing. A business luncheon today too.

Good morning - a cool, sunny morning with warm weather ahead. What a beautiful day.
No big plans - probably pulling the patio furniture out to the deck as warm weather is hopefully here to stay - even though we were in the 50s last night and 40's tonight.

Rolling into the week-end

Good morning - waking up to coffee and blue-grass on iTunes as I write this. I've downloaded and listened to the BPS Radio Show for years. The disk jockey' lives in Gassaway, West Virginia and is very country.

Two big bids due out today and I owe a client some drawings as well on a custom home I'm working on for them. A great day ahead - hold on, we're off and running!

Greetings - rainy day yesterday so a good excuse to stay in and crash - I did some office paperwork and Cindy did some house work, otherwise a lazy day.

A cultural experience

We tried to expose the grand-kids to Tennessee cultural experiences. Hopefully these lessons will stick with them for life.

Three days left in the week and it feels like 6 days of work to get through. Oh well, God has never let me down yet.
The Adams gang gets in tonight and we get the babies for a few days - should be fun ... and exhausting - woohoo!

Good morning - hope your mother's day went well. A good and busy week ahead. Reed and Audrey and the kids roll in Wednesday and we (Cindy) watch the kids for several days while Reed and Audrey take a mini-trip.

A sunny day ahead - looks like no rain for once! We've had a great week - Cindy's brother Galen and his wife spent the week with us and made an offer on a house here in Cookeville. We had a great visit - they're retiring and moving here this summer.
Cancelled our cable phone and got a new home line yesterday - we've a new land line number but our mobiles are the same.

Home alone

The kids are gone and we're back to normal ... at least for 24 hours. Cindy's brother rolls in this afternoon with his wife for a week of house hunting. He's retiring from Virginia and moving to this area - fun!
So continue to forgive me as my blogs will still be haphazard for the next few days.

 I must be getting old, 'cause Aunt Martha and Uncle Jack didn't look that old to me. I hope I look that great on my 50th anniversary.

Off to Rockwood this morning, a lunch class in Cookeville and then Crossville this afternoon - time flies when you are busy!

Got home and mowed the yard last night - already the 5th time of the year - it got warm here late but the grass is trying to make up for it. I heard it rained over 3" this past weekend while we were gone. Let's hope the grass lasts until the weekend.
