Ready for new year?

So how are you entering the New Year? A little apprehensive? Are you going in blind? Or maybe you are completely oblivious.

I recommend setting some goals - hopefully some spiritual ones too - and go in expecting a wonderful year!

I hope you have the opportunity to go to church today. It appears Kardia is already in a prayerful mood.

We start a new week and in a few days a new year - have a blessed week!

The kids went 4 wheeling Thursday at the Wampler Ranch. We're not sure if they wanted to see the ranch and enjoy the view or use it as an opportunity to sit close and hug?? Either way, they sure look happy!

We went to Natural Bridge Caverns yesterday and had a great time. We went to a Christmas eve candle light service, came home and open gifts and just relaxed. It was a great day.
I pray your Christmas is wonderful and you get to enjoy family!!

The 3 wise guys ...

Rachel took these yesterday and emailed them to me. They match outfits! Neidon is very glad they ran out of material before they could make his hat.

A visit to Kairou's grave site

The kids got to go by Kairou's grave site when they were in Missouri. They got him an Ohio banner as you can see between Kaireia and Neidon.

Cousins

Jaidyn and Kardia getting to know each other. Jaidyn is Casey and Rachel Kleeman's daughter and, of course, Kardia is Darin and Rachel Kleeman's daughter. Casey and Darin are brothers and both of their wives have the same name - Rachel. It's clear now, right?

I really 'heart' San Antonio

I like to show snow pictures because it reminds me why I love the south! Neidon is like me, he was outside long enough for this photo and then he was back in the house. Cindy said it took longer to dress him to go out, then he was actually outside!

A brand new week

Well, Kardia is wrapping up the best year she ever had with her first Christmas season. She is pretty excited about the entire event.

Excited for Christmas

Kaireia is getting excited for Christmas. Isn't this a great time of the year?

I Heart San Antonio

We left the Spurs game last night with the windows down in the car and then turned on the AC heading home. It was in the mid 80's yesterday. We probably won't see snow for Christmas and it may be 80 degrees Christmas day. Isn't San Antonio great!!

Guess where we were last night? And they won!! Thanks to the Wamplers - weren't these great seats! It makes up for my not going to a game for two years.

Cindy sent me this yesterday over her camera phone - she wanted to prove she HAD to stay with the grand-kids another day. I don't think she needs a reason for that!

Neidon likes Rachel to take his picture and then he immediately wants to see his image in the view-finder on the back. Hence, he usually stands pretty close to her so he can see it quick. He sometimes has this fake smile too - don't most kids? They think they are really smiling, but it isn't quite natural.

It is done!

The sheetrock is done - they textured yesterday and I hung the fans. Now we just need to wire them up, attach the blades and enjoy!

Another step closer

Well, the Sheetrock is patched and ready for texture - hopefully tomorrow.

And then the ceiling fans and the furniture can return - Hooray! - no more sitting on the floor.
