Below freezing today - a good morning to stay in and bake cookies and drink hot chocolate. That would put a smile on my face.
We had a quick snow storm yesterday - lasted only about an hour and we got an average of an inch across town. But I look at Reed and Audrey's blog (link on left) and fell much better - sorry guys.
We're at 33 degrees and rain - whew, the freezing rain just missed us. We're to get up to 40 or so today and not drop much tonight. Tomorrow is the interesting day. See my good friend again - (Michael) the cookevilleweatherguy for more info.
Here's my pretty granddaughter Kaireia smiling for you! She needs a gramps to play with her and spoil her today!
A concert for your Friday pleasure - enjoy! Something different for me so I hope it works!! (Hey - we hit 20,000 viewers to the blog earlier this week - half of those were my parents!)
Reed was not the only hat person - this proves his marriage was written in the stars! Audrey was also a hat lover! Of course, some of these hats are a little odd, but what the hey - they're still hats!
We are still below freezing. Actually we got above freezing for just an hour or two after 65 straight hours below freezing. You can see the heat wave thawed everything out!
I need some little feet running around on our hardwood floors - it's too quiet here!
Only about 12 degrees outside and not supposed to go over 20 today - I only thought it was cold before. At least it is dry - no rain or snow - now that could get interesting.
Not everyone is fortunate enough to have been born into the Adams family. Some have to join through marriage. (I saw a similar photo on the post office wall yesterday.)
We're back home! It rained most of Kentucky and some in Tennessee, but we're home safe and sound. As you can see, Cindy had another miserable time with the grandkids!
