Good afternoon - we went to a funeral this morning, a bit of shopping and relaxing before we leave to a Commissioner picnic - another chance to politik - ha!

Below freezing

Good morning - well, below freezing this morning - not ready for this yet ...

We mowed the grass last Saturday - so, was that the last time? Another freeze would put an end to that.
A big day of paperwork and lunch with 40+ other business owners - it's time to roll!

It's be more fun to spend a day at the park with grandkids - dream on!

Chilly Fall evenings

Good morning - evenings have been in the 30's - brrrr - lots of tree leaves turning colors and falling - feels like winter is just around the corner.
A big bid is due today plus tons of paperwork - busy is good, just not too busy.

Great Saturday in Tennessee

Good afternoon - we've had a fun day - went to a farm that some church member's have and probably a hundred folks or so showed up for a pig roast, sorghum making, fiddling', and lots of fun country stuff.
Came home - mowed in high 50 degree weather in sweatshirts, spread grass seed and now ready to relax - whew ...

Close to record rain

Good morning - well, about 8" of rain month to date and about 11" is the record - we're way over the average for a normally fairly dry month.
Lots of trees are turning colors and nights are cooler and cooler - a great time of year - except winter is ahead - ugg!
Well, it's Wednesday and the week is about half done - hang on, we can make it!

Rainy days and rainy nights

Good morning - I actually saw the sun yesterday for awhile. Lots of rain last night and more projected today - what's that big boat our neighbor is building? The wind is still rocking the house!

Cindy had several Commissioner meetings last night and we're off to a Monterey Chamber of Commerce meeting this morning. Politikin' is in her blood ...

Hope you are keeping up with Reed and the family in Oregon - looks like everything is going well so far even if they are on the other side of the world.

Good morning - over 5" of rain the past few days plus more coming in today. One of the wettest October's ever.

Greetings - we actually had a breakfast out alone .... shopping, mowed lawn and now some inside tasks ... wow, almost sounds like normal again.
We had a grand time with Kaireia here this past week plus - she is sure growing up!
No big news - just cooler weather, leaves turning and downright chilly nights!
