Keep climbing, the week is not over ...

Good morning! Another cool morning here, summer is truly behind us in Cookeville.

I got two great leads yesterday in a Leadership Conference - and I learned something too!

Two busy days left - I think I actually (whispering) have a free night tonight! Have a blessed day my friends.

Cool mornings - it is definitely fall

Good morning! Here's part of my Ohio gang - aren't they good looking! (That's not a question.)

A busy but good day ahead - classes this morning and Rockwood this afternoon to look at a large home addition. And the Vonore project signed the first phase yesterday - woohoo!

I'm back.

Well - I've been to Dallas, Texas and back - I'm all learned up. A nice, quick trip.

I saw Brent Barry in the Dallas airport and he asked me how Anna's basketball game was coming. I told him Reed was working with her on free throws, but otherwise she was coming along pretty well. Well, I did see Brent Barry.

Missing teeth

A cool night last night - we postponed "Shakespeare in the Park" until next week and went over to some friends house from church last night. A bunch of folks were there and we had supper together around a fire pit at the edge of their woods. It was jacket weather and the fire felt great.

Off to Dallas today so no posts tomorrow.

Yummy

Had dinner and saw a play with Cindy, Sandra and Laura. It was a fun evening.

I head to Dallas Sunday afternoon and will be there all day Monday for classes and back that night. A quick trip.

It looks like a week of cooler weather is coming - is fall finally here?

Don't relax yet - one more day

The weekend is almost here - one day to go.

I end up this afternoon with a job in Crossville and then we connect with Sandra for supper and a play.

Double trouble

Well, if you read facebook, you already know Rachel is pregnant and due February 1st. You now know Audrey is pregnant as well and due April 27th. I feel broke already. Actually I just got a whole lot richer!

Good morning - got the lawn mowed last night - looking good, at least for another 4 or 5 days.

It's low 60's this morning - too chilly to go swimming for me - Anna looks like she is ready to go though!

Anna is growing

Cindy back safe and sound and she had lots of grandkid fun - Anna is starting to pull up so look out now.

Climbing trees is scary

Cindy heads back this morning - pray for safety.

A partly cloudy morning here - pretty cool. I have an eye dr appointment and pray for clouds as he will surely dilate my eyes. It's been a little over two years since my eyes were checked and I noticed I'm starting to squint - not a good look!

Anna is growing

Well, Anna's new cousin is going to be a girl. That's right, poor Neidon is going to have another sister. I had two, can't even imagine three! Ha!

Cindy's enjoying the grandkids - I think today is Jack Hanna's Zoo - sounds fun.

I was at the Biltmore

Cindy took this photo - she said to prove I was at the Biltmore. I think because it is more in line with what my summer home would be. Actually, I couldn't even afford this one.

Rainy Saturday

We've got to work a booth at the Cookeville Fall Fun Fest this morning - hope the rain stops.

One guess as to where Cindy is heading this week. Sonogram time - boy or girl?

5 years old

It's hard to believe that Neidon turned 5 this past week. Where have the years flown?

And where has this week gone - it's Friday already - have a blessed day. Overcast and rainy looking here in Cookeville. I pray all my S.A. and Texas friends are safe from the rains.

This was an interesting park - lots of great photos and artifacts from Alvin's life.

Cordell Hull museum and homestead

This is in Byrdstown, about an hour north of here. I have to admit, Cordell Hull did not do one thing I agreed with politically.

Biltmore gardens

I got these ready this morning and then forgot to post them - we worked on the yard and then went to see the Cordell Hull museum and the Alvin York birthplace. Watch for those photos this week. The Biltmore gardens are amazing!

Record low temperatures

Tennessee had record low temperatures across the state last night. It feels like fall already. Locally it started off around 44 degrees - brrrr.

We planted 6 trees yesterday - we picked them up, brought them home and planted them in half a day! This is not your Texas soil!!

Stone Carvings everywhere

It's hard to tell until you get close, but there are stone coverings all over the Biltmore - very intricate and all types of figures.

A long weekend

We bumped into this odd couple at the Biltmore - they look familiar.

I think this is a stay at home - do work around the house - type of weekend.
