Lots of family!

 I saw tons of family at the 50th Anniversary party - what fun! Everyone looked great and I had some great visits. The afternoon just flew by.

I bet at least 150+ folks came through and I was related to half of them - ha!

Every family has a black sheep and I was trying to figure out who that was - I love all of my family so much, I couldn't figure out who it was and finally realized it must be me! Ha! Thanks to everyone to treating me so nice at the anniversary party!

Partying in Southern Indiana!

We're home

We had a great time in Indiana - it would have been a 4 hour drive back, but they were working on the highway west of here so the last 15 miles were stop and go.

We saw lots of family and had a wonderful time in Indiana - we'll be putting up photos soon but they won't fully describe the joy of seeing family again after so many years.

Martha and Jack looked great and they had friends coming in the full 3 hours of the open house.

Indiana week-end

Off to Indiana after work today - Adams family tomorrow and Parker side on Sunday. Aunt Martha and Uncle Jack are celebrating their 50th anniversary! I love this picture of Martha and Cindy.

I could use some helpers at work today - it's going to be just me working on my projects and more hands would help. I see a lot of busy hands at this table - looks like fun!

Mid week once more

Greetings this fine day - a strong chance of rain ahead. I'm in the office this morning and then Carthage this afternoon to meet a client.
I made a mistake - I listed all of the projects I was working on in one place and scared myself! I should have stopped at 20 ... oh well.

Spurs play the Lakers today - hope it is not a dozer. Asher and I may take a nap if it gets boring. Two words - Beat Lakers!

Well, it looks like we're going to Indiana next weekend to see relatives and the Pipes 50th reunion - should be a lot of fun!

A beautiful day ahead - sunshine, 45 degrees and just beautiful outside.

Wow - what a crazy week in the news -Islamic Terrorists, bombings, shoot-outs, Fertilizer plant explosions - lots of folks going through trials and lots to be thankful for. God is good.

A slow lazy day here in Tennessee - breakfast in a bit, a few errands and just a good day ahead.

This was an incredibly hard week and another one ahead - I've got more work and projects on my plate than ever before - my cup runneth over ...

Good morning! Dark outside - lots of rain last night and still some this morning.
A good day to stay inside in your jammies and sit on the couch and snuggle up with somebody you love.
I'm with a client all morning and working on a bid all afternoon - another fast day ahead - but hey, it's Friday!
Lawn mowed last night so ready for a great weekend - enjoy!

A Full Thursday

Greetings - a meeting this morning, lunch with a business group, I meet with a new prospect right after lunch and then paperwork - woohoo - bring in on!
Wow - lots to pray for today - personal family as well as the West, TX fire and the Boston Marathon survivors.  We've been through West many times as it is north of Waco and a great place to stop for a brunch snack as you are heading north - some great Czech bakeries.

Rain ahead?

 A spot of rain yesterday and a bit more later today or tomorrow - my yard looks ready to mow again. This time of year it's hard to keep up with it!

Two meetings this morning with clients and then TONS of paperwork this afternoon. Wow, the days sure fly by.

Mom called yesterday and Dad is home - pray he stays there now and gets healed up!

No big news - it's Wednesday - enjoy!

Another Sunny day

Good morning! Sunny. but a slight chance of rain ahead. Dad hopefully goes home today - they kept him another day to keep tabs on him.

My mower is back and I'm ready to get the truck back - it'll be almost a week - too many things had to be fixed. I guess at 200,000 miles anyone could be worn out.

I could use Kaireia on some of our construction projects. She may be too fast ...

Everybody loves Monday

Woohoo - another exciting week! Asher doesn't look to thrilled does he?
Hopefully Dad goes home today from the hospital, we also know several friends fighting cancer and illnesses - pray for those you know battling illnesses.

Pray for my dad - mom called early and he's back in the hospital again - pray he gets well once and for all.

A great but busy week - the weekend is appreciated. Off to breakfast in a bit and a few errands. My mower is in the shop - my lawn looks like a jungle, I need my mower back NOW.

That old grass is growing again

Good morning - a LOT of rain yesterday - my grass is greening up and everything is growing like crazy. Spring has sprung.

Our cold and rain front got stalled out and is supposed to hit us later today. It's pretty muggy out.
We had some excitement last night as multiple fire-trucks flew past us into the neighborhood - we could smell smoke, but not sure how bad it was!
A busy day ahead - 2 meetings cancelled and still booked! Life is good!

Wild weather Wednesday

Warm today and a storm later this evening that is to cool us down a bit. Sounds like a wild one so hang on!

The truck goes in today for a new timing belt - every 100,000 miles they say and this is the second one I've done - getting my money's worth out of this truck!

I think this swing could hold another Kleeman or two! I think Noema wants off!

Good morning - we're loving this warm weather! We sat on the deck last night after supper until we started to freeze out when the wind picked up. We are so ready for this kind of weather.

A great client meeting yesterday - they're ready to move forward on the plans on a $600,000+ home - woohoo! This guy manages music for Christian Artists, none of which you've ever heard of if you are over 30 years old. There's no business like show business.

Our church is still searching for a minister - please keep praying for that. Have a blessed day.

Spring is finally here ... I hope

It looks like a warm week ahead - lots of sunshine and warm weather - only one rain day projected - woohoo!

Our small group spent most of the time in prayer last night - what a blessed evening. Thank you God for our church.

Picture perfect day

What a great day - got home a few minutes ago from church and lunch and unfortunately have a church board meeting in an hour - it looks like the perfect 'sit on the deck' type of day. I love warm weather!

Another week bites the dust

Good morning - talked to Dad last night in the hospital and he sounded good but wiped out. He ended up having his gallbladder removed yesterday after thinking he just had a stomach bug!

Paperwork this morning and Crossville this afternoon - great day ahead. Hang in there - it's almost over - the paperwork is almost through for the week.

We got a call from my mom early this morning - dad was sick all night and they took him to the hospital this morning - pray he is okay. Thanks!

It has begun

I think my mower wanted to get going less than I did - but we got 'r done! Depending on rain, it could last a week.

In the office today and catch-up. Not sure why I always leave the office on Fridays caught up and arrive Mondays way behind? Some black hole thing I'm sure.

April First

This years is well underway, we're a quarter into it already - and it's still freezing! Well, at least it's pretty cold - I'm ready for warm weather. Actually foggy out this morning - should burn off soon.

A great Easter yesterday - great service, good seeing friends and a fun lunch with some church friends. But the fun is over - back to work - a busy week ahead. Crossville this afternoon and the start to a huge home remodel and addition - we're off!
