Summer has arrived

Only mid 80's here yesterday but scorching hot around the country - drink lots of fluids and be safe my friends.
Just think - 4 months ago we had snow like in this photo and we complaining about the cold!!

Ahhhh ... it's Saturday

Greetings - another fine day ahead. Off to breakfast in a few minutes - I hope you had a great night's sleep and are feeling fine!
A few errands today, but no huge plans - as it should be. Next weekend is our Indiana trip and Audrey and Reed and the gang are going too - should be fun.
I think a hot one coming up so drink plenty of fluids and be careful out there.

Smile - it's Friday

Whew - another exhausting week, but a great one. Lots of great clients and great projects - I am blessed! I had to be in extra early yesterday so missed yesterday's picture  - hopefully this one makes up for it!
I think mostly an office day today - my desk is hidden and that needs to be rectified.
A bit of rain yesterday, just enough to be super humid when we walked last night - feels like Houston in august.

Hey - next week is a short week!

Between rains

Looks like more rain today - we actually had a break yesterday and were able to mow the lawn. It really looks green right now.
I think I've got an in-office day today. Yesterday I met with a new prospect in Woodbury, TN - a legal distillery that makes white lightning - moonshine - I passed on the taste test! The smell alone was mighty potent. An interesting project though.
Well, we're off and running - go get 'em!

Seems like we've had a lot of rain here lately - it seems like almost every day - a bit of sunshine would be nice.
Of course, this photo brings a bit of sunshine in my life - woohoo - aren't they cute!

Another week, another round - hang on, we can do this ...
I typically go into the week thinking of all of the things on my plate and wondering how to accomplish everything - and then on Friday I usually look back and am amazed at all I got done. Keep that in mind and remember how much God can direct your daily path.

Off to church in a few minutes - another fine day ahead. We had a nice afternoon rain yesterday - this time of year seems to bring them fairly often. The grass sure loves it.

Nothing big going on today - we're Skyping with a minister prospect this afternoon and a board meeting, but nothing big going on today ... sounds good.

Super duper Saturday

Good morning - sunshine, so far at least. About an inch of rain yesterday and I can see my grass growing even now.
Off to breakfast and a few errands - have a great Saturday!

Well, stayed up way too late to watch the Spurs ... lose! I still love them though. They just looked off last night and frankly got out played.

Well, it's Friday and I've a couple of major tasks to get out the door today. This morning a house re-draw and reviewing a house repricing; this afternoon getting a new house out to bid and I really need to go meet a new prospect - hmmm, maybe next week - where did the time go?

Exhausted ... and it's only Thursday

Good morning - lots to do today plus running a huge business luncheon for 45+ people - okay, I've got this.

Spurs-Heat play tonight - I can't take this much stress - my furniture is worn out from jumping in excitement - okay, one more game!

We mowed last night after work and then had heart attacks watching the Spurs lose. My heart and mind can't take the strain again. For my friends in San Antonio, you'll have to hold off two more days for your looting. (It's a joke, alright!)

Tuesday rain

I need to get over to Crossville sometime today plus a meeting in town plus a 2:30 conference call - other than that only two buildings to draw up and basically a lazy day.
I think I still have the photos I took of the girls after the ballet on my camera - this one and the one yesterday the ballet studio took - cute girls!

Hard to get going ...

I stayed up too late watching the Spurs lose & the coffee is working mighty slow. It's a tied series now - rumors are the NSA tied into Coach Pop's notes and passed them to the Heat.
Mostly paperwork today and a meeting this afternoon - sure glad it's Friday - I think a few of you would like this week to be over with too. Remember God is in charge.

Three's a crowd

A sunny morning here in the upper Cumberland. We got the lawn mowed last night and are set for another few days.
Talked to dad last night - sounded good but still lots of pain and trouble eating anything hard - thanks for prayers.
A big paperwork day today and trying to clean up my office a bit - a few weeks worth of mess to clean up - hang on, here we go!

Mid week again

Greetings - was in Nashville yesterday and they had it down to one lane coming up the mountain - not fun. Crossville today so hopefully no road work that direction.
Well, an update on dad from yesterday - he passed out and hit his face and broke some of his face bones - not sure how bad yet. They can't work on him until the swelling goes down so he may actually go home for a week until that happens?? He's in a  lot of pain and even has trouble eating - pray for the whole process to go smoothly and a quick healing.
Also, Kardia cut her eyelid yesterday and they had to 'glue' it back together - they considered doing surgery for awhile and with long distance news we even thought they had for a bit.
Give us a break and everyone be safe and watch your step today!

Lots of stuff is happening

Good morning ... well, dad is back in the hospital ... he passed out last night several times and they need to figure out what is going on. Audrey, our son's wife is getting ready to travel to Oregon as her grand-father passed away this past Sunday and Reed has too much going on to go with her right away. Cindy and I are heading over to Nashville this afternoon as I have a meeting there. Otherwise, nothing going on in our life ... Keep our family in your prayers.

Back home again

We had a great weekend in Ohio and enjoyed lots of events and family. We got back home last night to rain and it looks like more the next few days. My grass is becoming a forest quickly.

Good morning! We're off to Ohio this afternoon for a long weekend - woohoo!
This is Delaney and her son. Delaney is my cousin Cheryl's daughter. We got to see them when we went to Indiana for my Aunt and Uncle's anniversary recently. Interesting enough, Cheryl and her husband Charlie now own Parker's Lake - the lake that my grandpa Parker made back in the 70's.
Well, if it's Friday for me, it will be a wild and crazy day trying to wrap up for the weekend!

Greetings - a beautiful day ahead with rain projected tomorrow & Friday. We mowed the lawn last night - we're ready.
Two huge quotes due today and lots of paperwork, but otherwise nothing going on. Hope your summer is going well - hard to believe it's June already. I'm glad warm weather has arrived!

Good morning - Happy Birthday to Irene - Cindy's mom! And birthday thought of my grandma Adams born on this day many, many years ago. I sure miss my grandparents.

We mowed last night and went to a church softball game - off to breakfast in a few minutes and a nice relaxing day ahead with maybe a few errands thrown in - enjoy!
