Kaireia is learning how to wink. She does a pretty good job. Her grandpa enjoyed it a lot.

Home Safe

The kids are all home safe and sound.

It appears I wasn't the only one who spoiled the grandkids, or in this case should I say, the great-grandkids?

Quick trip

Reed and Audrey are home in Mesa. Kaireia and her family leave today. Neidon is still sick but getting better. His family is ready to get home, get well and get rested up.

We had a great, but short visit.

Uncle Reed and Kaireia

Neidon is still sick - he leaves tomorrow, so we hope he's better soon.

Just a blur

Aunt Janice learned that Neidon never slows down. He's like the comic book hero Flash - he's always moving and just a blur.
No wonder he's so hard to photograph.

Warm weather

We've had the best weather all week - high 70's and low 80's - perfect for digging in the dirt!

Neidon is excited - his Uncle Reed and Aunt Audrey have arrived. But he's been sick, so he hasn't had a chance to play yet.

Great-grandparents

Kaireia and Neidon had a great time yesterday meeting more family. I think mom and dad enjoyed it as well.

We went to Mission San Jose yesterday and had a great time.


The kids enjoyed the warm weather - as did we. It was close to 80 degrees - beautiful!

The kids arrived safe and sound last night. I think Cindy is more excited than the kids. I'll be posting current photos this week - hooray!

Good morning - a pretty but cold day here in San Antonio. But next week we're back in the 70's again.

Rachel and Neidon say hello from Ohio - their high today is ... 15 degrees! Brrrrr.

Swish-boom-bah

Kaireia has been cheerleading for the church's Upward basketball league. She showed us a few moves on the web cam a week ago.

Her mom says her practices at home are more enthusiastic than when on the court in front of people.

You were all sure Neidon was enjoying his sister bugging the tar out of him! Now the truth comes out.

Neidon is happy - he knows it's Friday and the week is almost over! It's been a hard week and he's ready to relax.

Kaireia likes to pick out her own clothes. She's done this since she was pretty little. Of course, everything has to match.

I think Neidon is getting used to the colder weather in Ohio. At least he has the hat right.

It's rodeo time again in San Antonio. The kids were all here last year - here's Kaireia on Dolly.

Kaireia's father said she could grow up and be anything she wanted to be! Except, a race car driver.

Naturally, this hat was a logical choice for our future race car driver!

Monkey see ...

Which side of the glass is the monkey on? Who's looking at who? The Columbus zoo is one of the best in the nation - the kids are already enjoying it.

Multi-tasking

Moms have to multi-task. Do you think Kaireia has seen her mom vacuum and take care of a baby at the same time?

Have a blessed Friday - I'm glad I live in Texas and not in 20 degree Ohio.

Of course, when Jim and I were kids, we did paper routes in this kind of weather in short sleeved shirts and shorts - and pulled sleds uphill both ways - over 20 mile routes.
