It's allergy time again ...

Greetings - we've had lots of rain and it's a bit warmer so the plants and trees think spring is a coming. Of course, my allergies think the same thing - I welcomed Cindy back with a night of coughing and allergy symptoms - she just thought she was going to get rest after being with the kids.


I'm off to Crossville this morning and a couple of other meetings today - we're off and running!

Off to Indiana

Howdy - off to work for a few hours and then we head out to Indiana around noon. Pray that our weather holds out - please, no snow.

I will be posting haphazardly the next few weeks - so have a MERRY Christmas and enjoy your family this holiday season.

Good night Irene

You probably have heard, but Cindy's mom, Irene Miller, passed away yesterday morning. Quite frankly, we're still in shock as she seemed healthy except for the Alzheimer's that was bad, but not as severe as we had expected.
No funeral news yet - we're assuming Thursday, but if you are interested give us a call as we should know later today what's happening.

Well, Monday sure snuck up on me - I could have used a few more zzz's this morning. Those grandkids wear you out!
Oh well, back to work to rest up.

Rain today (we hope) and cooler weather. I can take both - we almost hit 80 yesterday.

Spring has sprung!!

65 years and counting

65 years of marriage - an amazing statistic. I wonder how many people hit that number? Cindy and I have a ways to go yet ...

Another overcast day, hoping for sunshine today - we'll see. Can't believe how everything started to bloom out this past weekend - it really looks like spring now! Plus my neighbor mowed his yard - time for that again.

New format

Hope you like my new format - thought I'd try something new for awhile. It's Saturday - woohoo - we have a to-do list a mile long - but I'm not at work :-)

We enjoyed our visit with Cindy's folks this past weekend and also got to see her brother, her nephew and his wife and their daughter, and even Reed and Audrey and Anna - what a fun weekend.

Anna got to meet her GREAT grandparents. She enjoyed it!

For my friends in Texas, we got some spare rooms - so be safe, get out of there and head on up for a few days. We pray you only get rain from this storm.

Cindy and I attended a Tennessee Tech game last night. We had a great time - especially since someone gave us the tickets!
