We got a boy with us for a week - his grandma is already spoiling him! God is good!

A lot of stuff going on today - getting ready for a huge presentation next week and putting final touches on it today.

Getting a big house out to bid. Wrapping up a few plan details.

And TONS of paperwork - let's get going!

Cindy is getting Neidon today for about a week - woohoo! Spoiling grand-baby time - that's how we roll.

Great weather - even had the windows open last night it was so cool.

Lots of paperwork ahead today - hang in there - also pray Rachel and Cindy and the kids are safe on the road today!

It's in the 50's - I thought it was summer? Maybe the county fair coming into town made ole Mr. Summer think his time was up? We're not quite ready for summer to leave yet.

Another week ahead - wow, kind of a 'deja vu' moment. Hard to believe we're almost into August!!

We met our church's minister prospect last night and his family - so far so good - God, we're waiting on you to decide ...may our eyes be open to Your guidance!

Galen and Charlotte came over last night and had supper with us and we played dominoes - a fun night! We're enjoying having them close.

Singin' in the weekend

Greetings - I pray my folks enjoyed their anniversary yesterday. The years roll by and the memories pile up - God is so good.

Breakfast out in a bit, a few errands and I need to catch up on some office work - too many meetings this past week.

68 out and a high of 80 projected today - what an unusual summer we've had so far. Lots of rain and fairly mild temperatures. My grass has sure enjoyed it so far.

Rolling into another wekend ...

Salutations ... another Friday and another weekend has come into sight. Hard to believe another week has flown by already.

Lots of stuff to 'clean up' before the weekend - you know the feeling.

Got the lawn mowed last night and glad to have it out of the way. Always good to have that behind us for another 5 to 6 days before it is ready again.

Greetings - a good but busy day ahead. Paperwork this morning, lunch with about 45 business professionals and sales training all afternoon with Michael Allosso.

I think it is a mowing night - woohoo - glad to have a lawn to mow! Just hold back the rain.

More paperwork and a few meetings today - good stuff ahead. Just trying to keep up with everything that is going on.

It rained hard in Cookeville yesterday but nothing at home - the grass is beginning to call my name again. I'm thinking of looking into a robot mower - what do you think? Ha!

Missing my babies - I'll just enjoy looking at their photos today.

Summer time ....

Greetings - another fine day ahead. Starting off with 72 and 40% chance of rain today - up to mid 80's and just downright purty!

I already worked on all of my work last night trying to sleep, so today should be an easy day as the work is already half-done - ha!

Neidon comes to visit next week for a week so we're looking forward to that. County fair starts too so we'll be visiting that as well.

Goodness - the fair makes me think of fall already - don't go there yet.
Well, better go - running a bit slow today.

Well, it's Friday and a good but long week - mowed the lawn last night as rain in the forecast today - we could hear thunder most of last night too.
A hard bid due today and lots of paperwork - here we go!

Good morning from the Upper Cumberlands of middle Tennessee!
If you've ever driven through Tennessee from Nashville to Knoxville, you've driven right by us on highway 40. This is a beautiful part of the state. Cookeville only has 30,000 residents, but being the county seat, about 100,000 work here every day. AND, we're closer to the grandkids - hey, it's win win!

Yawn ... yawn ...

Well, Monday sure snuck up on me - I could have used a few more zzz's this morning. Those grandkids wear you out!
Oh well, back to work to rest up.

Rainy Sunday ... again ...

Looks like we had more rain last night and more projected today - this has been one wet July so far.
A quiet day yesterday - still trying to catch up on sleep - is that possible?

We're ready to dry out - tons of rain the past few weeks and no end in sight. I mowed Monday and my grass looks tall already!

Well, Galen and Charlotte are here and have moved into their new house already. Audrey and the kids are still here too. Life is good.

No news - same old stuff - busy at work and God is amazing!

Back home again ... not in Indiana ...

We're back in the hills of Tennessee - and it looks like it's been raining ... still! One of the wettest 4th weekends ever - at least we had some sunshine in Indiana - at least for a little while.
A great visit with Cindy's folks, brother, nephew and all attached family - woohoo!
We did bring one little gal back with us and her momma and brothers join us later today or tomorrow.
Gotta go - church soon!

Two days left

Good morning - this old work week is almost over - but you wouldn't know if from my remaining work load - arggg!!
I really need to get to Crossville this week but not sure when - oh well, this too will pass.
Lots of paperwork today and a couple of meetings - hang on, we're off!

A short work week

Good morning - a thunderstorm rolled though last night and parts of town got over an inch - my yard is looking like a hay field again. A 5pm meeting with a new church prospect tonight, so probably a Tuesday mowing is in store for me.
A nice weekend and a short work week - Thursday off to Indiana for a few days to see Cindy's folks.
