Ready for new year?

So how are you entering the New Year? A little apprehensive? Are you going in blind? Or maybe you are completely oblivious.

I recommend setting some goals - hopefully some spiritual ones too - and go in expecting a wonderful year!

(And don't forget the party favors)

2007 almost over

I hope you have the opportunity to go to church today. It appears Kardia is already in a prayerful mood.

We start a new week and in a few days a new year - have a blessed week!

The kids went 4 wheeling Thursday at the Wampler Ranch. We're not sure if they wanted to see the ranch and enjoy the view or use it as an opportunity to sit close and hug?? Either way, they sure look happy!

Merry Christmas!

We went to Natural Bridge Caverns yesterday and had a great time. We went to a Christmas eve candle light service, came home and open gifts and just relaxed. It was a great day.
I pray your Christmas is wonderful and you get to enjoy family!!

The 3 wise guys ...

Rachel took these yesterday and emailed them to me. They match outfits! Neidon is very glad they ran out of material before they could make his hat.

Luke 2:10-11 "And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Santa's helpers

Kardia and Jaidyn are getting all excited about Christmas, as you can see.
Oh well, maybe not, but wail until next year!

A visit to Kairou's grave site

The kids got to go by Kairou's grave site when they were in Missouri. They got him an Ohio banner as you can see between Kaireia and Neidon.

I Thess 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Jaidyn and Kardia getting to know each other. Jaidyn is Casey and Rachel Kleeman's daughter and, of course, Kardia is Darin and Rachel Kleeman's daughter. Casey and Darin are brothers and both of their wives have the same name - Rachel. It's clear now, right?

Stocking Stuffers

I like the surprises in my stocking as much as what is under the Christmas tree. How about you?

I really 'heart' San Antonio

I like to show snow pictures because it reminds me why I love the south! Neidon is like me, he was outside long enough for this photo and then he was back in the house. Cindy said it took longer to dress him to go out, then he was actually outside!

A week away

Christmas is but a week away - are you done shopping?

Luke 2:8-11; In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

A brand new week

Well, Kardia is wrapping up the best year she ever had with her first Christmas season. She is pretty excited about the entire event.

A beautiful morning

We got down to freezing last night but it is supposed to get into the 60's today.

I see Ohio is snowing and freezing most of the day.

Snuggle up with someone you love and stay warm!

Excited for Christmas

Kaireia is getting excited for Christmas. Isn't this a great time of the year?

Luke 2:1-5, In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to his own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.

It's Friday!!!

Don't crash yet - you have to make it through today before you can chill.

Evidently Kardia didn't get the memo.

All smiles, sort of ...

We're all smiles that Great-Grandma Adams' surgery went well. She is home and doing great.

Neidon and Kaireia wish they were there to help out.

Well, not quite walking yet.

She is still pretty cute though! (Both girls, that is!)

Little Kardia

Kardia is over three months old now and growing like a weed - a good weed, that is!

I love this shot of her and her mommy.

Spurs fans

Imagine Cindy finding these Spurs Basketball fans in Columbus, Ohio? And they look kind of familiar as well!

Running out of time ...

I probably shouldn't have decided to work on the car today before Cindy returned. I hope I can get it back together in time.

It doesn't look good ...

Ohio Snow

Cindy sent me this yesterday over her camera phone - she wanted to prove she HAD to stay with the grand-kids another day. I don't think she needs a reason for that!

Neidon didn't like the cold - he is inside watching- a man after my own heart.

Kardia will grow up thinking she has two mothers! I wonder why?

Dirty dishes!

This was my look yesterday as I loaded the dishwasher.

It must be cold up north, do you all wear ski caps inside? You guys are rugged, no wonder I live in the south.

Kardia does casual

The newest member of the Kleeman family looks comfortable, content and cozy. But I think she would be more comfortable in our laps - don't you agree?

Smile Kardia!

This is Kaireia getting Kardia to smile. Rachel should have been more specific with Kaireia on how to get her to smile!

It's December already!! The countdown to Christmas begins.

They run!

Another step closer - lacking light kits, wire remote controls, hide wiring, clean up mess, take a nap, .....

Say 'Cheese'!

Neidon likes Rachel to take his picture and then he immediately wants to see his image in the view-finder on the back. Hence, he usually stands pretty close to her so he can see it quick. He sometimes has this fake smile too - don't most kids? They think they are really smiling, but it isn't quite natural.

It is done!

The sheetrock is done - they textured yesterday and I hung the fans. Now we just need to wire them up, attach the blades and enjoy!

A big hat to fill

Rachel and Kardia are looking forward to Christmas.

Cindy is in Ohio right now spoiling grand-babies. Nothing better than grand-babies fighting over your lap!

Gaucho Pants

Only little Sandy Monroe from Tennessee answered correctly #2 in yesterday's baby quiz. Congratulations.

Doesn't our little Kaireia look all grown up here? Slow down - you're our little girl!

Tuesday, November 27, 2007

Another step closer

Well, the Sheetrock is patched and ready for texture - hopefully tomorrow.

And then the ceiling fans and the furniture can return - Hooray! - no more sitting on the floor.

Kardia is 3 months old - can you pick her?

My babies are all beautiful!
