Friday!!!

Greetings - I'm writing this on Thursday evening, but you are most likely reading this on Friday. I just got back from the Tennessee Tech football game and it is past 11 pm - if I do this tonight I can sleep in another 20 minutes in the morning - if you know me, mornings are not my friend.

Cindy is still in Ohio, my folks had a message on the answering machine and are home safe and sound - all is right with the world.

Have you been watching the Republican convention? Good stuff - I recorded tonight's and will watch this weekend.

Gotta go - bed calls - I love you all.

We're half-way there!

Kaireia
A great time at church tonight! But awfully quiet here with the gang gone. Cindy comes back this weekend - maybe she can rest up from weeks of grand-kids. But that is not to be taken as a complaint - oh the fun those kids are and what joy they bring to our lives!

Have a blessed day - God is so good.

No internet access

Sorry, no internet access this morning - sending this from my phone. Cindy is in Ohio for a few days - Kaireia is back home - so quiet today.

The wedding is over

Kaireia
A nice wedding - lots of family, fun and food. Great to see Sandra and all of her kids and my folks too.

Church in a few minutes - my folks are driving over from Sandra's this morning for church and then staying a few days with us. Have a great day!

Brian's wedding

Kaireia with great-grandparents.

Wedding today

Lincoln
Good morning - Brian and Natalie get married today - we drove over to the rehearsal last night and met some nice folks and saw lots of family. What I like about coming back from the Kingston area is that driving back, we left at 8:42pm  and got back home at 8:38pm - and they are an hour away from home!

Our last weekend with Kaireia and then she heads back home this next week. What a wonderful visit - grand-kids are great!!

Chilly nights

Anna
Well, maybe the nights aren't this chilly, but they have been in the 50's. A pleasant time of year - almost feels like fall - it's just around the corner.

Lots of paperwork today and then off early to points east for Brian's rehearsal meal. The wedding is tomorrow already - seems like he just announced it.

Psalms 9:1-2
I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.

Thankful for Thursday

Good morning - where has this week gone?!

Mom and Dad came by yesterday while I was at work and Cindy and Kaireia got to visit for awhile. I get to see them this weekend at Brian's wedding.

No news - paperwork this morning, a business luncheon and Monterey this afternoon to see a client's project.

Have a blessed weekend.

Petting Sting-rays

Cindy and Kaireia
We're home - a great convention, but I feel like I stood for two straight days. Cindy and Kaireia did a lot of stuff while I worked; and we all went to the aquarium yesterday after I finished at the convention.

Back to work today - I don't want to see what my desk looks like! Here I come!

Chattanooga today

Kardia and Laura
Greetings - mom just called and told me my Uncle Bob Pancake had passed away this morning. Pray for the family as they mourn his passing.

Busy week ahead - Chattanooga today, back Tuesday afternoon, lots of deadlines this week and Brian's wedding this coming weekend. Hang in there.

Ecc 3:1-4 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,

A great Saturday

Good afternoon - we went with Kaireia out to breakfast this morning and then did a few errands.

We got home, mowed the lawn and now just relaxing. I do need to review my Sunday School lesson for tomorrow - life is good!

Wet Friday

It rained a lot last night - looks pretty wet out - I really need to mow the lawn - hmmmm.

We have a granddaughter with us! Kaireia is here for about two weeks - woohoo! I am still upset about losing in 'Candyland' last night though.

I like this photo - this is before Lincoln could set up very well (one year ago today) and he is starting to lean over and Anna has reached out to stop him from falling. So cute.

County Fairs are fun

Neidon
Mid 50's out this morning again - great weather - feeling like fall.

Neidon enjoyed the fair and he rode lots of rides - many with his grandma. I'm glad there is someone out there who likes rides.

I'm off to Crossville this afternoon, but mostly a catch up day. Hang in there.

Rainy morning

Anna - one year ago today
Good morning - off to Wacker in Charlotte, TN today. Looks like they've narrowed the award of a project down to us and one other company that we bid on a month ago. Today is a question and answer today - hope it goes well.

This is Anna from a year ago - I always love going back and looking at older photos. My kids are really growing!

Church tonight - this should be a great day. Love you!!

PS Happy Birthday Dad!

Yawn ...

Well, I could have slept in a bit. Got back home from Kentucky after 10 pm - that alarm clock went off early!

Another mid 60 degree morning - so nice out - thank you Lord!

Kaireia comes to visit in a few days - maybe Neidon left a puzzle for her to work on.

Have a good day - wish you all well.

A long Monday

Good morning - an easy Monday. but a 7 pm meeting with a church in Kentucky 2 hours away. Looks like a l-o-n-g day.

A great weekend - God is good. We're having wonderful weather - highs in the 80's and lows in the 60's - looks like it is going to stay awhile.

Have a blessed week!

Swordfight in aisle 12

Cindy is missing someone to sword fight with - I'm just not up to it most of the time. It does make a mess if you cut off a limb though.

Yesterday we did umpteen chores as well as mow the lawn. The yard looks great for another 3 or 4 days.

50 out this morning - brrr - 3 more 'cold' fronts coming though this next week or two with rain, cool nights and lower humidity - we'll take it.

Breakfast without our buddy

Good morning (barely) - we got out the door a bit late and didn't have time to put a picture up this morning - sorry about that. We had to make it to a pancake breakfast that we had tickets for to support a local girl's softball team that one of our church members coaches. The girls served us and it was fun. Unfortunately, no grandchild there to eat with us - too quiet!

Orange

38 years of marital bliss today - wow - where did the years go? Happy Anniversary Cindy!

We were helping Neidon try on some Tennessee gear - we had a fun time with him - it's pretty quiet here now.

Our boy is leaving ...

Neidon heads back north today - what a fun and exhausting week - we wouldn't trade it for anything!

I hear thunder outside so pray the trip goes well for all - Rach and Cindy will meet somewhere in north KY for the trade-off.

By the way - Lincoln was only trying on his tux in Tuesday's picture - the wedding is upcoming. Pray that goes great too.
Sorry no picture yesterday - the old internet was acting up - like me in the morning ... nuf' said.

The County Fair was fun

Lincoln
We must have worn Neidon out at the fair - he was still sleeping when I came out for the day. He rode multiple rides and had a ball. Fairs are fun!

Lincoln is at his Aunt's wedding in Oregon and looking pretty sharp! But what else would you expect?

Paperwork this morning and Crossville this afternoon. Maybe get home early to mow the lawn - the rain has come again and so has our grass!

Rainy Sunday and rain ahead

Lots of great rain yesterday - it pushed our County Fair visit off until tonight. It does look like more rain today, but hopefully it will arrive earlier in the day - think positive!

Another work week - the days just fly - a new project is starting; several are wrapping up; awaiting news on some past quotes and meeting new prospects this week - like goes on ...

Ecc 1:9 What has been will be again,
    what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.

Almost Church time ...

Another fine morning - looks like rain this morning.

Neidon video chatted with his family last night and when Noema saw him she got all excited. It was fun to watch.

Hopefully we get to go to the local fair today it the rain stays away for awhile.

Have a great day!

The worlds is my oyster ... whatever that means

What to do, what to do ...

The day is laid out fresh and clean before me. Breakfast, some errands and some surprises ahead. It is thundering so rain is rolling in.

A little boy is beside me, now he's not, now he's downstairs, now he's back up again - oh, for a bit of that kind of energy.

You all have a great day - I love you all!!

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

Woohoo - Friday at last

Lincoln and Anna
A long but good week. A couple of new prospects and lots of paperwork shuffled - I survived another work week.

Neidon has us worn out - ha - but a good worn out. I've called him Reed more than Neidon - at least my long term memory is good.

Better go - lots to do today plus a new client meeting this afternoon the other side of Crossville.

The rain missed us

A huge thunderstorm passed us by last night - looks like it split and went to each side of us - we could have used the rain.

Working on a couple of new leads today - amazing how things come in right when you start to panic and wonder where the next job is coming from. God always provides.

I was at Chick-fil-a about 90 minutes yesterday - the line went almost completely around the building. I heard they ran out of breakfast food by 9 am and they ran out of regular food around 9 pm or so. An amazing event! Our company took a dozen of us there and bought us lunch - it was actually fun - everyone was so positive and friendly. We cheered for the employees and I saw the manager in back and he looked pretty excited.

No news - need to head off to work in a bit. The boy is still sleeping - Cindy must have worn him out yesterday.

A Fun Guy

Aunt Martha and my dad
We're having fun with Neidon - he wore me out in the basement last night playing basketball and air hockey. He has a bit more energy than I do.

A catch-up day today - lots of paperwork, clean out some old plans and papers and just get myself together to start the next project.
