The party is over ....

Time to move on, the party is over. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and got everything you wanted. I wanted a nice quiet Christmas with someone I loved - and I got it!

But the story of Jesus has just begun ... Luke 2:33 The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him. 34 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, 35 so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too."

NOW - you can open presents!

Merry CHRISTmas to all of our friends!

Luke 2:16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.

Wait - one more day!

4 hours left to work - you all have a great day!

Luke 2:8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. 12This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

2 more days - don't open yet!!

Two more days until Christmas - don't open your packages yet!

Luke 2:6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Travel safe this week

Many are traveling this week - pray for safety on the roads for friends and family.
Luke 2:4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.

This week will be a blur

A short week for most folks. Christmas is almost here. Drive safe, stay warm and hang on - here we go ...

LUKE 2: 1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2(This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3And everyone went to his own town to register.

Snow nearby but not at our house. We baby-sit for some friends baby and it snowed most of the evening at their house and halfway home. But we got home to rain and no snow.

Have a wonderful weekend!

A cold Sunday

It we had punkins, there would definitely be frost on them this morning - brrrr. Low 20's with high around 40.

Neidon holding his toy 'mice'. They went with him everywhere we went when they were here. A good thing they weren't real mice.

My little angels

28 degrees out and the cold front is due Wednesday!

I've already lost my voice and feel crummy - wooohoo for winter.

Missing my little angels - no one to read to or watch Dora with. Oh well, might as well go to work.
