A growing family

Neidon is looking tired - a couple of long days for everyone - especially momma and baby.

I'm in love!

Wow!

8 pounds, 10 ounces

Here is my BIG girl!

20" long, 7:22 pm Central time, 8:22 pm Ohio time - for what that matters!

My turn!

Kaireia loves her new baby sister!

She'll never come home

Well, who is already spoiling that girl!

Close-up

Darin just sent me this on his camera phone. You can see Kardia's face better. Hmm .... she looks like me!

She's here!

The kids loved their new sister. I think Neidon was more excited about seeing his Mother, but they still enjoyed Kardia.

Hopefully some pictures with a real camera and not just a camera-phone today.

Kardia Grace Kleeman

Grandbaby #4 - top that!

Kardia Grace Kleeman was born at 7:22 pm Central Standard Time, 8 lb 10 oz and 20" long.

She's a keeper!

More photos as I get them.

Who's looking?

If you are interested, I added a live feed at the bottom of this web page a week or so ago. Go to the bottom and you'll see from where current web site viewers are looking - pretty interesting. Who do I know in Germany anyway?

Where is that baby?

We're all sad that we don't have a new baby yet!

24 hours and counting (more or less).

Stay tuned for further information ...

Yaquina Head Lighthouse

Yaquina Head Lighthouse in Newport, Oregon. A beautiful day and great memories.

Yaquina Head was also visible from our nearby motel room one night.

Too much fun

Imagine another little munchkin crawling through this tunnel! No baby yet - but we're one day closer.

Our baby

Our baby is about to have another baby. Rachel looks ready!

This photo is from this past weekend - Cindy took it with her phone and emailed it to me - practicing for a new baby!

Please pray for us - this is the week!!

Don't ask

You know what happens when you ask a child - "hey, what are you eating"?

They show you - yuck!

Saturday's Quote

How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong. Because someday in life you will have been all of those.” - George Washington Carver

It is Saturday

It's Saturday - get up and get going - you're burning daylight!

As we always say, up and Adams!

Pink Dress

I bet you don't dress for breakfast like this! Kaireia was too busy eating to put her dough nut down and smile - kind of like my sisters (did I say that?).

Smell the flowers

Good morning, the week is half over - I pray yours has gone well.

Here are the grandkids in their back yard playing and smelling flowers, or probably pretty weeds.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Happy Birthday Dad - hope your trip to Italy was fantastic and you left me some inheritance money!

Here is Kairiea playing in the back yard. Remember those care free days? Nope, me neither.

Pretend

I'm not sure if this is pretend or not, but I don't remember ever eating fish crackers on a spoon.

He's probably sick from all of the sugar he consumed from breakfast (see yesterday's post).

Monday, August 13, 2007

It's Monday.

A new week, a new day - breakfast is the key to every day. Neidon knows that and is starting off the day with a hearty breakfast. But he hasn't learned the 2nd key of nutrition, which is having a little less sugar. Oh well, one step at a time.

The remote is mine!

Neidon's learned the man is in charge of the remote; as it should be. That's why he's smiling. He doesn't realize that doesn't mean he's in charge of the TV!

That's why Kaireia's smiling.

Just got this recent photo of the grandkids.

Remember ...

A fine day appears to be shaping up for San Antonio. The sun was up early and nice blue skies can be seen out my window.

Here is a quote honoring 'remembering' and my anniversary - kind of a 2 fer ...
Women always worry about the things that men forget; men always worry about the things women remember”

P.S. I took this photo about 3 years ago.

1974

Wow - August 10, 1974. The Rat Pack had nothing on us!

This big event put aside the news of Nixon's resignation from the day before. In comparison, this was even bigger then Tony Parker's wedding.

Who is that young couple standing with us?
(Remember to click on photo to see larger)

August 2005

This was taken two years ago this month, before Neidon was born. Back when Kaireia had time to smell the flowers.

Big Sister

Kaireia is going to be a big help with the new baby, just like she was with Neidon!

Whoops - wrong photo.

Siblings

Kaireia a few months ago showing Neidon something. He sure looks interested.

Throwing rocks

Boys love to throw rocks and Neidon is no different.

Have a great week.

Kaireia Joy

Kaireia has a sister due in a few short weeks. Grandma Adams is packed and ready to roll - well, almost!

Her mission, if she decides to accept, will be to spoil babies and then hand them back to the parents.

Why Lord?

We are grieving for our friends, the Travis', who just lost their grandchild; we grieve for the Lackey's and their loss; and we still grieve for our children. We mourn for our losses, for our future dreams that were changed and for loved ones who will ache forever.

Don't mean this as a depressing post - just pray for these families.

A voice is heard in Ramah,
weeping and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children
and refusing to be comforted,
because they are no more." Matthew 2:18

Sorrow

We had some great friends who lost their only grandchild yesterday. Pray for the Travis family and their children who are grieving.

Why are balloons used for the memory of a loved one?

My rabbit friend

I love this picture of Kaireia holding a small bunny. The natural lighting is great and her skin looks so nice against all of the white. What a special granddaughter! What a gift from God.

Week is not over yet!

Get up and get going, the week isn't over yet!

Psalm 18:32 "It is God who arms me with strength
and makes my way perfect."
