Love this global warming

Neidon
Wow - we have had unbelievably warm weather (for middle Tennessee) this entire winter - there I've said it, so it will be cold now. This week is in the 50's every day and night's in the mid to low 30's. I knew global warming would be good for something.

A three hour on-line class today in the middle of everything - good for the continuing education points I'm required to get, bad for the time it takes out of the middle of my day. Other than that - paperwork - woohoo!

Have a blessed day.

Good morning world

Anna and Lincoln
A chilly good morning to you all from the upper Cumberlands of Tennessee. God had made a lot of pretty places, but this is surely one He gave His favor.

So far, it seems like a paperwork week, but plans seem to change in a heart-beat. So have a great week whatever your plans.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Chilly Sunday morning

Kardia and Darin
Good morning - time to put up your dancing shoes and get ready for church. We've got nursery during first service and then we're starting I Corinthians in SS.

Sorry this is only a photo and not a movie - would prove interesting. Darin is sure braver than me. Kardia looks pretty happy though.

Riding into the weekend

Lincoln and Anna
Salutations on an overcast Saturday morning. Do you have interesting plans today? We're off to breakfast in a few minutes and a couple of errands.  Just a nice relaxing Saturday.

Just enjoyed a nice bluegrass song from Bill Clifton ... Leaning on the everlasting arms.

It's Friday!!

Lincoln
Good morning - a chilly 32 degrees here this morning and it may not even break 50 today - at least no rain like all day yesterday.

Busy day today visiting prospects - Nolensville, Murfreesboro and Crossville. Two churches and a business - a great day.

Enjoy this smile and let it help you get through the day!

Heading downhill already

Kardia, Kaireia, Noema and Neidon
The week is half-over already with only two days left. Today paperwork and tomorrow a day of travel and meeting new prospects.

No exciting news - a 100% chance of rain today with flooding possible. Sounds like Texas, huh?

Enjoy this photo of the Kleeman clan - now that's a handful - woohoo!!

Another rainy day ahead

Lincoln and Anna
Greetings - sorry I missed yesterday's post. I had an early Chamber of Commerce meeting. They set it up so you can attend and still get to work by 8 or so.

They had the TECH girl's basketball team there yesterday and talked about the sports team and how TECH helped the business community - very interesting.

One of the TECH girls is from San Antonio and attended Churchill High School about a mile or two from where we lived. A small, small world.

Well, off we go - 50% chance of rain today. I saw San Antonio is under a tornado and a flood watch this morning - be safe!

Running late

Good morning - I've got an early morning meeting downtown early so no photo today - hope your day is great!

Monday, January 23, 2012

Wow, where did that Monday come from?

Kaireia
Yawn - I could have slept another hour this morning. Maybe that rain storm that went through last night cut into my sleep. A warm, wet week ahead.

No big event today - TECH basketball after work - should be another nice day.

Here's Kaireia - she is growing up so fast. Isn't she beautiful! Hard to believe she is over 8!!

By the way, video chatted with Rachel this weekend and got to see Noema walking all over the place - that girl can fly! The four kids were all a blur in the background - ha.

It's Sunday!!!

Lincoln and Cindy
Don't look surprised - you knew Sunday was coming! Better get up and get dressed - church is in just a few minutes.

A mild morning - foggy and a bit chilly. These temperature changes are strange. It feels like winter might slip by us.

A fun night at the TECH basketball games last night. A double header and both the girls and the boys teams' won.

Better go - have a great day!!

Looks like more rain?

Darin and Noema
Good Saturday morning! Kind of overcast here - maybe a bit of rain today. Bit hey, it's still Saturday.

Noema turned one this past week - where did that year go anyway! She is sure a doll-baby. Just wish I was there to spoil here.

Have a great day - God is good.

What, more rain?

Kardia
Well, family in Ohio are getting snow, we've got rain and Texas, well warm weather is returning. What a great country.

A fun evening watching TECH basketball with friends all around.Did I mention I like basketball?

Kardia is a real clothing diva - she needs a grandpa to chase her around the playground and swing her. Sounds fun!

3 generations of sliders

Greetings on a chilly 22 degree morning. A paperwork day - woohoo! Only one luncheon meeting and no traveling today.

Sorry I missed yesterday's post - I had to be at work an hour earlier so my schedule was out of whack. We had a team working on a $13,000,000 bid and it took a LOT of work to put together.

No big news - just another great God given day - enjoy!!

Rainy, dreary Tuesday morning

A good morning to you all. As usual, listening to a bluegrass podcast in the upstairs loft/spare bedroom and picking out great pictures for the blog. I feel like I'm missing a lot of good ones as I shuffle through them. It sure is fun reliving all of those fun moments again - pictures are a real blessing!

Did you know those child swings could become double swings? I didn't either. But they sure worked great.

Once you get there, click on the radio tab and then pick out a show - enjoy!

Over 43,000 blog views this week - woohoo!!

The days fly by

Good morning on a new week. I hope church went well yesterday and the work week has begun once again today.

I enjoy these pictures of Neidon swinging baby sister - not sure who enjoyed it the most. (Probably me!)

Temperature is in the mid 40's this morning - a real heat wave in Cookeville. It's been unseasonable warm so far this year with just a few cold days thrown in. Enjoy them while we have them!
Neidon and Noema

Have a great week!

Youngest and oldest grandkids

Noema, Kaireia and Lincoln
Good morning - I was running later than usual this morning before church so I am just now getting around to putting up a photo. Kaireia loves the babies - she has a sweet heart.

45 here already - a real heat wave! The snow is gone and it looks regular again. I hope church went well - a new week - enjoy!!

Okay, I'm ready for summer

Lincoln
A cold morning - 27 degrees, overcast and snow on the ground. School was cancelled yesterday as we had some bad roads in the east end of the county where the elevation is about 1000 feet higher. We're to hit 40 today so everything should melt.

A nice relaxing weekend ahead - no big plans. I hope you all are doing well. Better go - shower and then out to breakfast. Coffee sounds great! I love you all - maybe today ...

I'm freezing

Good morning - we woke to a snow covered day in the low 20's. More snow projected this morning with a bit of sun this afternoon. High of 30 degrees - brrr!

Never got to Crossville yesterday - the weather got too bad, so will try to make it today. Other than that, a great catch up day.

Cindy and Anna
Ready for a weekend? It's here so enjoy. It would be fun to go sliding with a grand-kid this weekend.

Snow today

Noema and Rachel
40's today but colder and snow this afternoon and evening - brrrr! We were fortunate with warm weather during the week between Christmas and new Year's weekend. Well, it's about to catch up with us. Fortunately only about 1" of snow is projected.

A paperwork morning and Crossville this afternoon - need to go early as the first 7 miles heading to Crossville is up the mountain and prone to snow even before we get it.

Have a blessed day - love you all.

Rainy night and morning

It rained all night and all morning so far - lots of standing water and pretty dark and dreary outside.

It would be a great day to stay inside and color with friends. It's going to be nasty out there.

Paperwork this morning and two job site walks this afternoon. Still getting calls for new work - hope it picks up! Folks are still taking it easy.

Better go - have a good day and stay warm and dry. Chance of flurries tomorrow. Our warm days are about gone.

Foggy, foggy morning

Greetings and salutations out there to all my loved ones - another grand day ahead of us.

Cindy spent a LOT of time reading to the grand-kids over the holidays. Kids love for you to read to them - even Lincoln enjoyed the books. Noema was probably sleeping.

TTU women won in basketball last night - we had another fun evening out. Everyone sitting around us is from our church too.

Last day of full moon and cold weather moves in too. I think we have a chance of snow on Thursday. We've sure enjoyed this warmer weather though. If this is caused by global warming, we're all for it

Yawn

Kardia, Neidon, Cindy and Anna
Well, left church and went to Madison yesterday for a ground-breaking. I got home 7 hours later in time for evening Bible study. I am still in weekend mode - hard to get going this morning.

Rainy and foggy out this morning. I can see the neighbor behind me but not much else. I think it is pushing a cold front in that arrives in a few days. Weather - Make up your mind!

A catch up day today - too tired to go anywhere but home for a nap - ha! Not likely.

Have a great week - God is good!

Warm weather today

Neidon
Good morning! It's nice and warm in Cookeville this morning - mid 40's. Should be a nice day with a touch of rain possible.

Off to church and then I head off to a ground-breaking in Madison for a new church fellowship wing.

Neidon wanted 'Angry Bird' stuff for Christmas. If you are not in the 'know', Angry Birds is a computer game - it is what is hot right now. And by me saying 'hot', it proves I'm 'Not'!

This is a Pig hat - pigs are one of the characters in that game. I think he likes it! Should be a warm hat for cold weather.

Well, gotta go - have a great day - maybe today ....

Ginger bread homes

Audrey and Anna
Anna turned two yesterday! We talked to her on the phone - sort of - and she sounded great. What a sweet little girl.

We built ginger bread homes over the holidays - what a fun time!! Playing with grand-kids is fun.

Have a great Saturday = over cast here, looks like rain.

Another package to open

Audrey, Lincoln and Cindy
Almost 30 degrees out - a warm streak! A couple of warmer days here and then cold again. I drove up to Crossville the past few days and the highway cuts through the hills are amazing with the frozen water and remaining snow and huge icicles.

We enjoyed the Tech basketball game last night and I followed the Spurs via internet. They don't show a lot of Spurs games on the TV here.

Have a great day - hey - it's Friday!

Christmas presents are great

Noema
The kids enjoyed opening presents - I think Grandma had as much fun picking them out. We all enjoyed watching them open the presents.

A warm snap - only 28 degrees this morning. Never thought that would sound good.

Too much time off last week - this week seems long! Ready for a weekend to rest up.

Spoiling grand-kids is fun

Lincoln and Cindy
Another bitter morning out - about 20 degrees to start the day. A great paperwork catch-up day from yesterday. We're off and running in the New Year!

After work yesterday went downtown to greet our U.S. Congresswoman, Diane Black. She is doing a great job and we're proud of her.

Well, hi ho, hi ho, it's off to work I go ...

Sliding back to work

Cindy, Kardia and Rachel
Good morning! A chilly 12 to 14 degrees here in central Tennessee. Local schools are closed today - a touch of snow yesterday and the higher elevations are all iced in. They even closed highway 40 east of us for several miles going up to Monterrey.

Reed and Audrey got stuck in Cincinnati last night. With the snow and icy roads, it turned a 7.5 hour trip into 10 hours or so. Not so fun with two little ones.

Cindy and I thought it was Q-U-I-E-T as home last night. No little voices or the 'pitter-patter' of little feet. I sure love my kids and grand-kids.

Well, back to work - the alarm sure came early this morning!

Privacy

I'm working on resetting this blogs privacy limits. I'm getting a lot of spam hits and am worried about privacy. You may get on in the next few days and it will tell you that you need permission to get on - don't worry. Just ask and I'll let your email/computer through for access to the blog. Just keeping out the riffraff.

I'm back!

Adams family et al
I'm exhausted! But happy!!! A great Christmas and a great week between Christmas and New Year's! The kids and grand-kids in for a week - woohoo!

Perfect weather and a fun time. In fact, the cold rolled in today as Reed and Audrey's family left to head home. Thank you Lord for a great week.
