Strange parents

Kaireia is standing between her parents - I didn't know they were hat people (like Reed and Audrey).

A nice weekend is projected. Also, we have 4 big showings today in our S.A. home.

A big snow storm projected for Monday/Tuesday - we'll see.

Love you all!!

What! It's casual Friday!

Friday - another week comes to a close. I pray it went well for you and you accomplished those things that had to be done.

We had our 69th showing this week so we're that much closer to our real buyer.

This would be a good weekend to love on grandkids!

Yummy

Below freezing today - a good morning to stay in and bake cookies and drink hot chocolate. That would put a smile on my face.

We had a quick snow storm yesterday - lasted only about an hour and we got an average of an inch across town. But I look at Reed and Audrey's blog (link on left) and fell much better - sorry guys.

A sunny shiny warm day!

Well, maybe not - but I can THINK warm, can't I?

It got in the 60's last night, 40 out now and raining hard. Later today down to freezing and turning to snow.

Another great photo of Kaireia in beautiful Oregon. (Way back when Reed & Audrey got married - many moons ago!)

Cold and rainy

We're at 33 degrees and rain - whew, the freezing rain just missed us. We're to get up to 40 or so today and not drop much tonight. Tomorrow is the interesting day. See my good friend again - (Michael) the cookevilleweatherguy for more info.

Here's my pretty granddaughter Kaireia smiling for you! She needs a gramps to play with her and spoil her today!

Thirsty?

This is one of those full weeks where something is happening every day and there are tons of deadlines - I love it!

We have a chance of freezing rain and snow this week - you may be getting some too, so be safe.

For some reason, I'm feeling a bit thirsty - I better go get some more coffee - bye.

Hold me ...

Do you remember when you had a rough day and your mom or dad would hold you?

"The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them." Psalms 34:7, KJV

Have a wonderful week and a great Sunday!

Friday concert

A concert for your Friday pleasure - enjoy! Something different for me so I hope it works!! (Hey - we hit 20,000 viewers to the blog earlier this week - half of those were my parents!)

Never dance alone

Good morning - we're headed for the low 50's today! A real heat wave.

Here's a cutie to help you get through the day.

My window

Here is the view out of my window on Monday. Welcome to a Cookeville winter!
Friday is supposed to be in the mid 50's again - hooray!

It's fate!

Reed was not the only hat person - this proves his marriage was written in the stars! Audrey was also a hat lover! Of course, some of these hats are a little odd, but what the hey - they're still hats!

Monday, January 19, 2009

Wrong!

No matter what you think Reed - you DID wear hats a lot when you were younger. You have a nephew who likes the same thing.

Snow in Cookeville - stay safe, warm and have a blessed week.

Snugglng weather

Cindy's home after a week of painting. We had another showing on the SA house last night.

We're in the mid 30's but the roads are frozen and precipitation is causing havoc in some areas east of us. Be careful Sandra!

Colder today

We are still below freezing. Actually we got above freezing for just an hour or two after 65 straight hours below freezing. You can see the heat wave thawed everything out!

Heat wave today

Fountain at our office yesterday. Supposed to be mid to high 30's today - a real scorcher.

Little Kardia

This is a plant with leaves - in case you live somewhere like me where it is SO COLD that nothing like that can live!

Haven't heard the official low last night, but about 3 degrees out right now. A high of 20 today - a real heat wave.

It's Friday - have a wonderful weekend.

Too quiet

I need some little feet running around on our hardwood floors - it's too quiet here!

Only about 12 degrees outside and not supposed to go over 20 today - I only thought it was cold before. At least it is dry - no rain or snow - now that could get interesting.

Outlaws

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have been born into the Adams family. Some have to join through marriage. (I saw a similar photo on the post office wall yesterday.)

Drink your milk!

Kardia is such a character. She has the prettiest eyes, the funniest laugh and talks ALL the time. I'm just not sure what she is saying!

Have a wonderful day!

New week

Good morning from Cookeville!

It's going to be a cold week for a lot of folks across the country this week so bundle up and drive safe.

Reed and Audrey did sit together, in contrast to the other photo I posted about a month ago.

Missed a photo op

Cindy noted that at Thanksgiving, we didn't get any photos of us three 'kids' together - me and my sisters! Whoops!! Next time!

Blue skies, smiling at me ...

Actually we have rain today - but here are some blue sky photos to enjoy until the sky pops out!

High heels are slimming

Good morning from Cookeville! We had our 60th and 61st showings of our home in San Antonio yesterday. We're ready to sell!!

Here is a photo of Kardia for you to enjoy - pajamas and high heels, a great combination.

Seeing red

Well, we missed the snow, but it looks like Indiana and Ohio have snow in some areas - it is still looking like Christmas there!

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

Pusher

Grandma is a pusher - of strollers, that is - and loving it!

More rain in Cookeville - I'm beginning to develop gills. Stay safe, dry and warm today!

Tuesday, January 06, 2009

I like to draw

Kaireia is showing a notebook of drawings she has to Neidon and Grandma Adams. They seem interested.

Rain, rain and more rain in Tennessee.

Monday, January 05, 2009

Reading, reading, more reading ...

You pick up a book at Rachel's house and you are swarmed by kids. Not a bad thing!

Have a great week - we're off and running!

We had our 57th showing this past weekend - pray we sell that house soon.

We're back

We're back home! It rained most of Kentucky and some in Tennessee, but we're home safe and sound. As you can see, Cindy had another miserable time with the grandkids!

Happy New Year!!
