It's the weekend

Neidon and Cindy enjoyed the Oregon views. The ocean was beautiful.

New apartment

Here are the kids in their new apartment - thanks to the Harveys for the cameraphone photos. Looks like they are having a great time opening wedding gifts. Don't forget the 'thank you alls'!

Pounding clay

I'm not sure if I spend my days being creative or just pounding clay.

Kaireia and I are being artistic. Who's teaching who?

Oregon memories

I'm sitting here going through Oregon photos looking for something to post for Tuesday (and waiting for Cindy to fly back in from Kentucky) and I am remembering what a great time we had touring the state and especially the coast. Oregon is an incredibly beautiful state.

Different thoughts

Look here Neidon, let me explain the dynamics of thermal nuclear fission to you.

Look Kaireia, isn't that a pretty pink?

Listen up

You can tell I was probably speaking as all of my family clings to every word I say.

Whatever ...

This was taken at the rehearsal dinner.

Rehearsal

Come on Neidon, this flower girl thing is going to be fun!

Wait until I get older Kaireia, and we'll see who's last!

Wedding Reception

Some nice close ups of the grandchildren from the reception after the wedding.

I think they were full of M&Ms at this point.

More wedding stuff

I just received more of the casual wedding photos today - a big thanks to Dan Smith and Todd Davis. I'll be posting some for your viewing pleasure - they're great!

Portland Children's Museum

A couple of actor's from the Children's museum theater. I assume they're acting being upset - a good job!

It's early

Well - it's 5:15 in the morning and I've already dropped Cindy off a the airport. She is attending a funeral in Kentucky and will spend the weekend with the kids in Ohio before returning.

This picture tells you what her weekend will be like. Pretty gruesome, huh?

Paper Dolls

Grandma and Kaireia playing magnetic 'paper' dolls. Some people just know how to have fun!

Outlet Mall

I saw this photo on the internet - a good story!

I'd believe it.

Friends

Some of the friends who came to Oregon from San Antonio for the wedding. I'll post more later.

Enough photos already!

Neidon got tired of the photo taking after the wedding. He was ready to get out of that jacket!

Another Kleeman

Jaidyn Ann Kleeman, born June 15, 2007, 7 LB 6 OZ, 19" long

So who is this you ask? Casey is Darin's brother and they both have wives named Rachel Kleeman - how exciting would that be for family reunions? Casey and Rachel had their first child yesterday.

(Jaidyn has my sister Sandra's red hair! Or is that a cap?)

Sweep!

Enough said!!

Birthday girl

Here's the birthday girl and her graduate. We'd show you her cake, but the candles melted it and the fireman had to be called as it set the house on fire and the smoke caused a smog day and nobody could drive as there was an ozone alert and as Sandy had to stay home anyway and got the day off she was smiling. Hence, we got her to smile for this photo. Isn't life strange?

Brian's graduation

Here is a view from dad's seat at Brian's graduation. Hey Brian - trying to hide something? Were you really there or not? I need some proof you really graduated!

Kaireia and her babies

Kaireia loved the children's museum in Portland. We had to drag her away from this particular area.

Cindy and Kaireia

Here's Cindy at the other side of the table with her eating buddy too! She spoiled the kids and I'd have to clean up her mess.

Breakfast buddy

Here's a typical breakfast scene in Oregon (except I always wasn't on the phone). I had breakfast with a friend every morning.

Hey - don't you eat your cereal dry and with a fork?

I was there

We had a great time - don't the kids look great! They sure look nice dressed up.

Surprise!

My dad took this quick photo of Reed after the wedding when they were doing the photos. Not sure what kind of a look Reed is giving him. Maybe ... shock??

Class of 2007

Congratulations Brian - you made it! You are all growed up with the rest of the bunch!!

At least I think that's a compliment?

Wedding Reception

You always have wedding crashers, or even two, who like to eat all of your food and then act like children. We had plenty of those!

World Gas prices

You might find this chart of current World Gas prices interesting. (click to enlarge)

A low of .33 per gallon in Tehran and a high of 6.48 in Oslo, Norway - ouch!

It was 3.40 in Oregon a week ago and it is about 2.99 here in San Antonio this week.

Shell game

Everyone likes shells. You can hear the 'lotion' on big ones too.

Another vacation comparison

Okay - another comparison. We both had great waterfalls.
(Our looks bigger - don't you think?)

New Quote

As we get close to father's day, an appropriate quote ...

"Fatherhood is pretending the present you love most is soap-on-a-rope." - Bill Cosby

Comparing vacations

Convertibles attract the chicks!

In a lot of ways, Reed and I had similar vacation experiences, we were both with hot chicks, we were both on the Pacific Ocean, we both had the ocean breezes; but best of all - we both had hot rental cars. Is that a coincidence or what!

Sunset Cruise

You can see Reed was having a miserable time while we were FREEZING in Oregon. Write him and he'll send you a link to his honeymoon photos.

Writing

Neidon making a few notes about the trip before he forgot. He takes after his grandpa.
