They run!

Another step closer - lacking light kits, wire remote controls, hide wiring, clean up mess, take a nap, .....

Say 'Cheese'!

Neidon likes Rachel to take his picture and then he immediately wants to see his image in the view-finder on the back. Hence, he usually stands pretty close to her so he can see it quick. He sometimes has this fake smile too - don't most kids? They think they are really smiling, but it isn't quite natural.

It is done!

The sheetrock is done - they textured yesterday and I hung the fans. Now we just need to wire them up, attach the blades and enjoy!

A big hat to fill

Rachel and Kardia are looking forward to Christmas.

Cindy is in Ohio right now spoiling grand-babies. Nothing better than grand-babies fighting over your lap!

Gaucho Pants

Only little Sandy Monroe from Tennessee answered correctly #2 in yesterday's baby quiz. Congratulations.

Doesn't our little Kaireia look all grown up here? Slow down - you're our little girl!

Another step closer

Well, the Sheetrock is patched and ready for texture - hopefully tomorrow.

And then the ceiling fans and the furniture can return - Hooray! - no more sitting on the floor.

Kardia is 3 months old - can you pick her?

My babies are all beautiful!

My gals ...

Rachel took this of her and Kardia in the mirror - you probably noticed they were backwards? Rachel was trying to get Kardia to smile.

I tell you - When I look in the mirror, I can't smile either. (But this photo makes me smile!)

Christmas is coming ...

This is from last Christmas. Add a third grandchild in the back getting into the tree, and you'll have the whole picture as they decorate for Christmas! I wish I was there to help!!

Kardia's feet

I'm thankful for my wife, my children and my grandchildren. I'm thankful for my grandparents and my parents. I'm thankful for my sisters and their families. I'm thankful for God and his daily blessings on my life and that of those around me. I'm thankful for my church & church family. I'm thankful for friends - those who I've known a few years and those I've known a lifetime.

Psalm 79:13 So we Your people and the sheep of Your pasture, Will give thanks to You forever;
To all generations we will tell of Your praise.

Let me help

Kardia can't ever be alone or do anything alone. She will always have a couple of helpers waiting to run in and 'save her'.

I woke up early, realized I was missing the shopping already and turned over and went back to sleep. Laura wouldn't go with me anyway.

10,000 posts at 8:30 am

Not sure who it was, but we just hit 10,000 hits in about 2 years. Thanks for watching.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Kardia is happy and she isn't even having turkey or dressing. Life is good!

Enjoy your family, count your blessings and have a joyous day of Thanksgiving! We thank you God for your love for us.

Pretty smile

Our little girl is four years old and is a real sweet heart. She has her grandpa's heart, that's for sure.

Our big boy

Rachel had some photos taken and as she bought enough, they gave them all to her on a CD as well, so I've been sharing a few with you.

It's so hard to get Neidon to smile, but his Uncle Reed was like that as well.

Where is that sheetrocker?

This morning we pulled wire and tonight we hung the fans temporarily and checked our the wiring job - everything is a go!

Hopefully the sheet rocker comes quick as we have no furniture we can sit on in the family room - we spend the time laying on the floor admiring our ceiling handiwork (not!).

Relaxing evening

Oh yes, Cindy and I went home and just relaxed. After cutting holes all over in the ceiling, that is. More photos on this project in the coming days.

Happy Thanksgiving

Well, we had Thanksgiving early with the usual suspects, I mean family.

Lots of food, fellowship and even a nap or two. It won't have been the same without these typical events you see in the photos.

Sundays are fun!

Some folks just don't like dressing up! Every day can't be a casual dress day!

Thanksgiving is this week! Enjoy your family and count your blessings - be truly thankful.

Artists

Our budding artists are having a great time. I'd like to be drawing with them right now!

Hard work

Whew - this swinging is hard work. I'm glad it is Friday so I can rest a spell.

Isn't Kardia pretty! I'm not partial!

Nice and clean

Is there anything better than that clean feeling after a bath and enjoying new PJ's?

Maybe holding two grand-kids who are clean and in new PJ's?

Picture perfect

Kardia is beautiful awake or asleep. Something I probably couldn't say about YOU.

Just don't photo me when I sleep, if you please.

Our little secret

Not sure if Neidon is telling Kardia a secret or just kissing on her. Either way she looks content.

The Monday blues

I know - it was a quick weekend for me too! Try not to let it bother you and have a great week.

Mad hatter

Neidon likes hats. Some people look look in them, some don't. Which are you?

Leanin'

Kardia can't quite sit up yet. A little helping hand is appreciated now and then.

The cake was great

When I was a kid, I wasn't even supposed to put my elbows on the table.

What is this world coming to?

The claw

The grandkids have 'Trunkortreat' at their church. The cars come and line the parking lot with their trunks open. They are decorated and filled with candy and the kids come around car to car instead of house to house. Kaireia looks excited and Neidon appears somewhat concerned or maybe just pensive.

Bloopers

I'm running low on photos and may have to start showing the bloopers. Naturally, the kids will still be perfect, the situation may just be slightly awkward.

Time change

Nobody likes this time change thing!

The guv'mnt needs to keep their hands off of the clock and leave well enough alone.

Sleeping in

I would have liked to sleep in, except a men's breakfast at church & then a work day. It sure looks nice though! Oh well ...... Have a great weekend.

Happy baby-sitters

Aunt Audrey and Uncle Reed appear to be having a great time with Claire (Audrey's sister's daughter). Aren't these great photos!

Doesn't Claire have such a sweet face!!

Trick or treat

Here are my girls relaxing in their outfits. You may not recognize them with their disguises. They make them look innocent and sweet.
