Early sunrise

The sun is sure coming up early - not only are we within the longest days of the year, but the sun comes up in Cookeville at least an hour earlier than in San Antonio (we're in the same time zone). It's taken some getting used to! This is how I look when I wake up too - the sun makes it too bright!!

More sunshine today - feels like summer again - have a great day! What exciting thing does God have in store for us today? Do you even watch for it?

Pretty as a flower

Good morning! 64 degrees out and foggy - but it is burning off quick as the sun comes out. Supposed to be a sunny day today.

Here's a pretty granddaughter. I'd love to spend the day reading and playing with her. What fun we'd have!

You all have a wonderful day. God is good, all the time.

Beep Beep

A rainy morning - we're already got the 5th wettest June ever and moving up as I write this. Just glad we mowed last night - every 4 days is kind of crazy, huh? Never remember mowing that often in San Antonio. And the grass was pretty tall last night too!

Have a blessed day .... maybe today.

Monday mourning, I mean morning

Well, here we go again. I pray you have a great week. Nothing special here - more work and light travel. Hopefully a light week.

Looks like the kids are enjoying the Columbus zoo - looks like fun! You all have a great week - love you!

Wake up little sleepyhead

The rain woke me up this morning - it is pouring out and the weather map looks like we're on the front of a huge rain cloud. I can hear the grass growing from up here in the upper floor office.

As a kid I remember laying in bed and thinking that I was working out what I was going to wear - It made me think I was up and going even though I was still lying there and barely awake.

Well, off to church - at least I am finally awake on the outside.

Sunny Saturday - at least so far

A purdy day as they sez in these parts down here. We're burnin' daylight - let's get a going.

I could use Neidon to figure out the map. Looks like he has his thinkin' cap on.

Have a great Saturday - We've got errands, I've a house to draw and a sermon to write - woohoo!

Foggy Friday

I mowed the yard last night - thank goodness as it poured a few hours later. Today starts off pretty foggy with more rain projected. Hey, at least in Texas we knew the daily weather - hot, dry and clear - with no rain; repeat 1000 times.

I like this picture - I love the differences in hair and skin color. I hear Link is growing like crazy too.

Cute cheeks

Well, supposedly just sunshine today - I hear my tall grass calling - a fun after work project!

Noema is filling out - ha! What a sweetheart!

Have a great day - love you all!

Crazy kids

Neidon must take after his father - his lovely mother would never act like this.

Rain, rain and more rain in our forecast again. My yard needs mowing desperately - it will be 5 days long tonight - arggg! I'm thinking if I convert to a hayfield I can wait longer between mowing!

Happy Girl

Good morning - we've a 40% chance of rain today and every day for the rest of the week. I can hear the grass growing already.

No travels today - just lots of paperwork and some computer drawing on a couple of homes I'm working on - a good day.

Today is the longest day of the year - it's all downhill from here! I love you all.

Sunny day today

It looks nice out this morning - we had a hard storm last night - part of Cookeville got large hail and high wind damage - fortunately, we just got rain.

Here's a cute couple to start off your day. That Anna sure has a nice smile - she makes me smile too.

Maybe today ...

I see the sun!

Good morning - now don't look at me like that - you know you need to get up and get ready for church! You know you'll have a good time once you get there, so get going!

We had almost 2" of rain yesterday morning in parts of town in just a few hours - my yard will be ready to mow again by mid week.

Have a great day and enjoy your church friends!

Cloudy morning

Well, the yard was mowed last night and it looks like rain again this morning - grow. baby, grow. No wait, that's another line. Anyway, a nice Saturday and we're off and running.

Isn't that Noema a cutie? It's fun to watch babies develop their own personality.

Have a great day - love you all.

A Rainy Friday

Here's my good looking grandson! Neidon is glad to see another boy in the family - Link will be a great companion before we know it!

I should have mowed the lawn last night - we've got a rainy morning. Maybe the sun will come out before the afternoon is gone and dry out the grass - or not ...

Have a wonderful Friday.

Remember ... Maybe today ...

A busy Thursday

A full day today - I love those kind of days!

Aren't these kids growing up? Wow - Kaireia is still my baby but she isn't really! There is something about the first grandchild that holds your heart forever. God is amazingly good.

Wacky Wednesday

I had to fill up with gas yesterday - and had filled up just the day before - I don't enjoy that with today's gas prices. At least I had some good meetings yesterday.

An in-office day today - let's get some paperwork done!! Woohoo!

I pray you have a wonderful day.

Maybe today ...

Tuesday, June 14, 2011

Cute kids

I'm off to Athens, Vonore and then Lenoir City today - whew - lots of driving but some good meetings. Hopefully some good work out of these meetings.

Cooler today - mid 80's and chance of rain. Sounds nice.

Another Monday morning

Another action packed week ahead. Friday will be here before we know it! I like it when I'm busy - work is more fun.

A good chance of rain all week - we could sure use it.

Hey - how about those Mavericks! What an exciting game. First game I'd watched all the way through since the Spurs lost.

Wet Sunday morning

It rained a bit last night - not much, but everything looks nice and wet this morning. More projected later this week - I sure hope so.

Off to church and then home again - had a great visit with Sandra and Laura yesterday as they passed through on the way to Nashville.

Saturday, June 11, 2011

A full quiver

A slight chance of rain today - we could use it. Everything looks pretty dry here.

Sandra and Laura are swinging by today on the way to Nashville - looking forward to visiting for awhile.

A great week - got a church on contract yesterday I've worked with for a year - woohoo! We can put shoes on the kids again.

Friday, June 10, 2011

Windshield time

I've got a lot of driving and meetings today - Murfreesboro first this morning and then Madison this afternoon. A great day for a Friday - out of the office!

Our baby had a birthday yesterday - I'm talking about Reed, of course. Now our baby has babies of his own - time sure flies. Enjoy each day!

Thursday, June 09, 2011

Cute gals

Neidon and Kairiea are spending some time with Grandma and Grandpa Kleeman, so Kardia and Noema are having some alone time - pretty rare in that household!

Cindy got home safe and sound. The world is normal again!

No trips today but lots of paperwork - let's see what adventures are in store for us!

Maybe today ...

Wednesday, June 08, 2011

Noema is a happy girl

Well, Cindy is coming home today - they all had to pull her off the grandkids and walk her to the car. It was not a pretty sight.

I have to admit, I would have trouble leaving this pretty smile as well. What a cutie! How did I get the best looking grandkids?

Tuesday, June 07, 2011

Watch out for germs ...

Reed send me this picture off his phone camera - He caught Cindy in the act of spoiling Anna! No denial now! (Looks like fun, huh?)

Another hot day ahead - hope yours is a good one.

Maybe today (live today in such a way that if Christ returns you'll be prepared).

My little ballerinas

Thanks for sharing these photos Terry. I heard from Cindy the performances were great - sorry to have missed it!

A foggy morning here - can barely see the homes across the street. Got maybe 1/2" of rain yesterday afternoon following super high winds.

Have a great new week!

Ballet is exhausting

Cindy said the ballet was great - she's staying a few more days to spoil kids, but will share photos soon.

I hate to say it, but we could sure use some of that May rain about now. The yards and plants here are not made for heat.

I'm off to church - you all have a great day!

Saturday, June 04, 2011

Time to get up and get going

Looks like Cindy is getting help on how to brush her teeth. A great way to start ... or end the day.

Another hot day here - record temperature in Memphis yesterday - with our humidity, feels pretty bad here too.

At least got the lawn mowed last night and ready for a relaxing day. Only a few errands on the list. Have a great Saturday!!

Friday, June 03, 2011

Anna and Link

Cindy is probably having a rotten time with the kids - tough work, huh?

Well, another week has flown by - I pray yours was a great one!

Thursday, June 02, 2011

Ballet recital

Cindy heads up to Ohio today to see a couple of ballet pros give a show. Should be fun!!

I wrote my 2000th blog posting this week. Times fun when you are having flies!

Have a great day - and thanks for all of the birthday cards, calls and emails. Unfortunately I was in Madison, Nashville and Murfreesboro yesterday and got home later than usual - messages on the answering machine were nice though!

Magnolias are in bloom

Happy Birthday Irene!!

This Magnolia tree was on the grounds of the Carter House that was part of the Franklin Battle in Franklin, Tennessee.

All of the Magnolias have begun to bloom. A nice time of year.
