Wink

Kaireia is learning how to wink. She does a pretty good job. Her grandpa enjoyed it a lot.

Home Safe

The kids are all home safe and sound.

It appears I wasn't the only one who spoiled the grandkids, or in this case should I say, the great-grandkids?

Quick trip

Reed and Audrey are home in Mesa. Kaireia and her family leave today. Neidon is still sick but getting better. His family is ready to get home, get well and get rested up.

We had a great, but short visit.

Uncle Reed and Kaireia

These two are having fun playing with their dolls. Reed is teaching Kaireia some color coordination techniques.

Neidon is still sick - he leaves tomorrow, so we hope he's better soon.

Just a blur

Aunt Janice learned that Neidon never slows down. He's like the comic book hero Flash - he's always moving and just a blur.
No wonder he's so hard to photograph.

Warm weather

We've had the best weather all week - high 70's and low 80's - perfect for digging in the dirt!

Neidon is excited - his Uncle Reed and Aunt Audrey have arrived. But he's been sick, so he hasn't had a chance to play yet.

Toys everywhere!

Everyone had fun - 'nuff said.

Great-grandparents

Kaireia and Neidon had a great time yesterday meeting more family. I think mom and dad enjoyed it as well.

Reed and Audrey arrive tonight - late!

Old stuff

What's old in this photo?

Answer: The buildings of course!

One of the missions and one of my missions.

We went to Mission San Jose yesterday and had a great time.

The kids enjoyed the warm weather - as did we. It was close to 80 degrees - beautiful!

Having a terrible time ...

This is Cindy on the floor with the kids last night, teaching them manners and self control.

Whatever ....

Monday, February 19, 2007

They're here!

The kids arrived safe and sound last night. I think Cindy is more excited than the kids. I'll be posting current photos this week - hooray!

Sunday, February 18, 2007

We're all keyed up!

Everybody is excited - this is travel day! The gang will be here in just a few short hours.

Have a blessed Sunday.

Smuggling

Actually three grandchildren are coming to Texas tomorrow night - Rachel is smuggling one in. Here's his (her) first photo.

We're counting the hours!

It's Friday

Two days and counting until Neidon is playing blocks with his gramps. You all have a great Friday.

3 more days

Kaireia is excited, as she's coming to see her grandpa in three more days.

Pair of Aces

Good morning - a pretty but cold day here in San Antonio. But next week we're back in the 70's again.

Rachel and Neidon say hello from Ohio - their high today is ... 15 degrees! Brrrrr.

Swish-boom-bah

Kaireia has been cheerleading for the church's Upward basketball league. She showed us a few moves on the web cam a week ago.

Her mom says her practices at home are more enthusiastic than when on the court in front of people.

She looks pretty small in this shot.

Wrong!

You were all sure Neidon was enjoying his sister bugging the tar out of him! Now the truth comes out.

Have a great week - by this time next week I'll be spoiling my babies!

Quiz

This is Princess Kaireia hugging one of her subjects during a snow storm about 2 weeks ago.

Here's my question for you to ponder:

Is Neidon smiling and enjoying this or is he frustrated to be hugged again?

The answer tomorrow!

Saturday, February 10, 2007

That's Super, man.

Does something strike you odd about this photo. Wouldn't Superman be flying? Or at least bounding over tall buildings with a single leap?

One more week and I get my hands on this little guy - he'll be in San Antonio - and, oh yes, his family is coming too.

Happy Boy

Neidon is happy - he knows it's Friday and the week is almost over! It's been a hard week and he's ready to relax.

Or, he is a boy and he has a red ball.

Thursday, February 08, 2007

Only Thursday?

It's only Thursday? It feels like it's been a long week already! I'm ready to crash - I think Neidon already has.

Hang in there - the week's almost over.

My little princess

Kaireia likes to pick out her own clothes. She's done this since she was pretty little. Of course, everything has to match.

You might notice she likes getting her photo taken too.

Don't I have pretty grandkids?

Tuesday, February 06, 2007

Cold weather

I think Neidon is getting used to the colder weather in Ohio. At least he has the hat right.

(PS Got some new photos last night - so enjoy)

Monday, February 05, 2007

Rodeo

It's rodeo time again in San Antonio. The kids were all here last year - here's Kaireia on Dolly.

What a great cowgirl!

Sunday, February 04, 2007

Move over, you're going too slow

Kaireia's father said she could grow up and be anything she wanted to be! Except, a race car driver.

Naturally, this hat was a logical choice for our future race car driver!

Saturday, February 03, 2007

Monkey see ...

Which side of the glass is the monkey on? Who's looking at who? The Columbus zoo is one of the best in the nation - the kids are already enjoying it.

Friday, February 02, 2007

Multi-tasking

Moms have to multi-task. Do you think Kaireia has seen her mom vacuum and take care of a baby at the same time?

Have a blessed Friday - I'm glad I live in Texas and not in 20 degree Ohio.

Of course, when Jim and I were kids, we did paper routes in this kind of weather in short sleeved shirts and shorts - and pulled sleds uphill both ways - over 20 mile routes.

Having a ball

I hope you're having a ball this week. I know my work can be busy but I sure love what I do.
