It's Sunday

Our church has its Fall Festival today and Western wear is the theme. Evidently Kardia's church doesn't have the same event today.

However you are dressed, may it glorify God and may you enjoy your worship service today.

Kardia is two months old

The new queen is now two months old. She's got her grandpa's double chin!

A budding artist

Kaireia is the family artist. She loves to draw and does a great job for her age.

The best thing I draw is flies! (You have to think about it a second - a joke, get it?)

We're having wonderful weather here in San Antonio. Tonight is supposed to be around 50 degrees and tomorrow about 70 degrees - we'll see!

I'm out of town Friday evening and Saturday until late, so accept this as my Saturday post too.

I'm reading a book on Heaven by Randy Alcorn and he makes you wonder what it will be like when you get there. Of course, we assume almost as much as we know, and we bring in ill conceived tradition often more than we see what God's word has to say about heaven.

I hope it isn't terrible to say, but as much as I look forward to being in God's presence, I look forward to being with friends and family for eternity. Isn't God great!
