Busy week

Good morning - well, Cindy gets sworn in tonight at city hall and becomes bonafide. As first husband I'm a thinkin' of working on improving local school lunches or something. What - that's been taken? I'll think of something.

August in Tennessee

Good morning - we've had cooler weather, but it is supposed to heat up a bit this week again. Warmer days and more humidity - the Tennessee we know and love.

We found out Cindy gets sworn in next Monday night for County Commissioner - it begins ...
After last night's county commissioner meeting, we're ready for a change! Shouldn't budgets balance?

Oh well, another day ... we're off!

I'm fighting allergies or a cold - need to shake this off and move on - tired of coughing.

Missing my babies - haven't seen any for a few weeks - looks like this one needs some spoiling!

Good morning - fighting allergies a bit this morning - this weather has been so back and forth this summer I guess it caught up with me.

Breakfast and a few errands today - nothing special.

A good busy week at work - sometimes almost too good - ha!

60 degree morning

Good morning! Starting off nice and cool this morning - we got down in the 50's last night and it's still only around 60 degrees - woohoo - feels great.

Trying to keep up at work - feeling a bit overwhelmed right now - lots going on.

We missed the local fair this year - too much going on in our life - go figure!

Define normal ...

Good morning - well, sort of back to normal ... we're home, just the two of us, work is going well, and HEY - Cindy is a County Commissioner!! All of her hard work paid off - now her real work begins.

She heads to Murfreesboro in a couple of weeks for classes and then look out Putnam County - She starts in September! Over half of our 24 commissioners got replaced and a lot of Republicans are now on board -woohoo!

Nashville bound

Good morning - we're off to the Nashville airport in a few minutes - Cindy is off to Ohio.

Almost in the 40's last night - we gauge showed about 52 degrees - brrr!

A great day ahead - trying to keep up as a short week - Cindy flies out tomorrow morning to Ohio - I'm taking the van up this weekend - the truck has become a bit untrustworthy - sorry old friend.

Good morning - wow, low 60's this morning and it's not supposed to go past 80 - most of our week will be this way.

Another great week ahead - Cindy flies up to Ohio Wednesday for a week and I drive up over the weekend - play with grand-kids for a few days.

No big news - just life happening as usual!

Good morning - we had a wonderful time at the Republican dinner last night - Victoria Jackson is so funny - she is running for County Commissioner in another county here in Tennessee.

Yesterday we spent 2 hours or so at a car dealer - our intent was to just check out what they had - sticker shock ...

August is around the corner

Summer is sure flying by - hope yours is going great!

Yesterday I had to be in Mufreesboro by 7 am so was out the door early for that 90 minute drive. Today up to Livingston at 9am and then trying to catch up on all of my paperwork from the week - arggg!!

Well, hopefully the weekend isn't too crazy - a Reagan day dinner tomorrow night hosted by the Putnam County GOP and maybe start car shopping - yuk!

Good morning - well, we're about half-way through this old week - I looked at my calendar and the second half is the heaviest - ouch!

It's back to summer time weather here - high 80's and high humidity - with a high chance of rain every afternoon.

Good morning - I could have used another 15 minutes of sleep this morning - well, maybe 30 ..., would you believe 45?
